Not a good sign at all. And still no word yet as to why. I know many didn't expect the fight to go ahead anyway but with all the recent issues with the Furys i did expect the fight to happen.

Wonder what the upshot will be

Yes they only care about their own Clan and treat outsiders with contempt.

All they care about is their own Wonga

The UK boxing authorities should make him pass a surprise VADA drug test immediately for pulling out. If he fails, ban for life.

And if Peter Fury is supplying steroids to the Fury boys, not exactly a surprise given his criminal past.

Knew it wouldn't happen had it written all over it from the moment they lost the purse bids. Tried to get fight over here after loosing, didn't sign contract until last day after being orderd by WBO. Been NO build up what so ever considering its in 2 weeks time. I heard Peter mention he got his visa accepted a few weeks back on IFL but it wouldn't surprise me if that was a lie and one of the reasons behind the pull out.

Bellew to fight Parker in the UK?
    Bellew wins, Retires.
Parker wins, beacoms big name in uk and great build up for AJ fight.

Bellew would find it very difficult against Parker who actually earned his World Heavyweight Title against a live opponent unlike the AJ v Chuck Martin farce.

A faded chancer such as Haye gives any decent fighter a chance and I would be absolutely amazed if Bellew is not facing the ceiling after 3 rounds with Parker.

AJ has the powa to take Parker out but I am still waiting to see what happens to AJ when he is hit.

Shame, I was quite looking forward to this one. Haven't really watched much of HF or JP so it was going to be a nice introduction.

A story about Bellew today on the BBC news app basically saying he wants a crack at one of the titles, if he suddenly signs to fight Parker then I'd have to be suspicious of this pull out. With the amount of Money that fight could generate a few hundred grand in Fury's bin plus first dibs if Bellew wins sounds like a good bit of business. I guess time will tell.

Duco obviously super pi55ed off with the Furys and who could blame them:

Cash up front if Fury wants re-scheduled title shot

Boxer Joseph Parker's camp is demanding a large sum of cash before agreeing to re-schedule their WBO heavyweight title fight with Hughie Fury.

Fury has withdrawn from the fight citing a back injury.

However David Higgins of Duco Promotions - Parker's management team - is skeptical of the injury.

Higgins says the Fury camp has been difficult to deal with throughout negotiations around the fight.

"Most boxing negotiaions are cordial and the camps get along....but there is proper discord in this one," said Higgins.

"They have damaged the trust between the camps and the only way for them to fix that is to pay a big chunk of cash up front to a lawyer's trust fund account and then we will fight Hughie," said Higgins.

I've said it all along, any fighter that pulls out of a bout should be fined wether the injury is legit or not.

    Fighting men my arse......

There should be a lot more accountability on fighters who do pull out. I'll grant you that much.

Anyone who subsequently pays to watch Fury deserves to be conned! This match had disaster written all over it from the start
Who did he beat to earn a crack at a version of the title? He is overated and underpowered and severely delusional, Id like the whole tribe to just p*s off out of the game.

They are a bunch of messers!

The least surprising boxing news you will read all year. This was the final straw for me unfortunately.
