So many people seem to gravitate to words over actions these days. The guy is a year away from a meaningful MW fight at least. How soon people forget how Trout hung in there with him, competing essentially on even terms.

People simply want him to beat GGG nobody with a brain actually thinks it is possible at this stage at least. One advantage this guy does have is time.

154 is a better division than 160 that can't be argued. Charlo never stalled anything he beat the crap outta J-Rock when most people here thought he would lose.

If he beats Jacobs more convincingly than GGG did then people will demand the GGG fight.

Yes at one time that was the case but now IMO he's better than his brother.

Like GGG when he finally faced his first B level opponent? He gets one of the weakest KD's I've seen since Shane Mosley's credited one against Manny. We got another bum killer who's not 35 years old and look at the blatant double standards. Damager just admit it. You guys suck. You guys are contradictions and I guarantee G doesn't have the balls to fight this guy. The overglorified milk cow just wants to cash out with Canelo and ride off into the sunset.

I think Lemieux-Charlo would be an awesome fight. I've got to see how Jermall takes a punch at 160 before I make him the favorite, but that's as fan friendly a fight as you'll find.

Lee's done IMO. I know he's got that miracle-making right hand, but unless that strikes gold, I think Jermall's too physical for him at this stage. Andy's always had issues with big, physical fighters even before his slide. Give me Charlo by KO there.

Jacobs is pretty much a toss-up for me, but I'd probably go into it making Jacobs a slight favorite- it's not just about how well Jermall's chin would carry up (as with Lemieux), but how well his power would, too. Jacobs is a big 160, and I have no idea how he'd handle a someone with that combination of power and skill without the size advantage he's used to.

Khrazy Khurtsidze-Charlo would be comically entertaining- Jermall would probably look 3 divisions bigger on fight night, and that ******* would still be coming at him lol. I'd favor Charlo.

Heiland is a good ice-breaker at the weight. He's not special, but he is a solid fighter. How Charlo handles him will give us a pretty good idea of exactly how ready he is for the next level up at the weight.

Trout is a tough SOB for anyone and young buck Charlo hung with him however he did seem to lose steam in the late rounds.
Charlo is going to shake things up at 160 as the kid is hungry and not a FKN diva. I'm not saying he will clean house but he sure will make a mess while visiting....Just my thoughts

Not having to drain to 154 means we should see a stronger version of him, too.

Spot on brother and the kid has that killer instinct. When he hurts you he does not rush in nor does he allow the fighter to breath but he picks his shots and carefully finishes the job

Stick him in with Lemieux and see how he gets on.

I really like that about his game, too. I was guilty of selling him short vs J-Rock, but he proved me wrong (emphatically lol). He's a natural finisher for sure.

Now, let's hope we get some of those fights made. I thought Haymon held out on us when it came down to making more good fights among the top 154 guys in his stable. There's a lot of fun matchups for Jermall at 160, and it'd be a shame if we have to "what-if" them.

people can say its more talented, but i still think lemieux, jacobs and ggg would Ktfo out almost every 154lber. So half of them wont be going up. Andrade was the best of 154lbs at one stage, I dont he will bother come up to 160 after having troubles with jack culcay.

the 154lbers arent talented enough to go up and dominate. so they arent better fighters and alot of them as likely lad has said look like they are boiling themselves down. 6'1 6'2 jmw's
