Lomachenko-Salido set for this summer

The Excuses are already rolling in...

 

I'm expecting a stoppage for Lomachenko this time around. Had the first fight been for 15 and not 12, I think Siri was toast. One of Loma's weaknesses in that fight was his pacing- he finished with way too much energy left, and took too long to get started. Classic mistake of a fighter going an extended distance for the first time.

 

We'll see the best Lomachenko to date. I believe he wants to avenge that 'loss' more than anything right now.

Salido's last stand. I hope he brings the fire because Loma is definitely coming with a cold and technical campaign.

 

Salido still has to get through his tune up without incident like I said earlier then accept the rematch terms/contract which he has not done. I am not considering this done until he is in the ring with Loma a second time.

Salido probably had 60 fights at that time.

First fight was great this one gets ugly after the fifth. Lomachenko is best in the game right now, Salido is washed-up.

 

It's hilarious how you see certain people say "Lomachenko had 400 amateur fights doe! He wasn't green when he fought Salido!!"

Then those same people will defend Joshua, Crawford or Floyd for their amateur losses saying "B.. B.. But amateurs ain't da pros doe!!" LoooL!!

This time, if Salido hits Lomo in the nuts he'd better hit him back to his cojones
right way. I mean good sportsmanship only goes so far. I didn't like Lomo's
post fight excuses about not retaliating against Salido's tactics. Shows he doesn't
have a mean streak. IMO.

Officially yes, but it could easily be 3-0.

I like this fight, but let's face it has very little relevance. Loma will more than likely be the winner but avenging a loss vs a very faded fighter will not erase the outcome of the first fight.

Best case scenario, Loma will be 1-1 vs Salido.
