Salado lost that fight when he didn't make weight. End of story.

Loma haters (that happen to all be fans of Ward, Mayweather, Crawford etc) will have to look for a new really pathetic excuse after this. lol you haters really need to jump on the Lomachenko train because it's possibly the worst EVER fighter you could ever hate against.. the guy is gonna be making history non stop.

So what Maidana did was "good boxing?"

I wouldn't go that far. Lomachenko wants to avenge his loss... point for him.
Salido want to prove he can do it again... point for him.
The other guy is probably the best paycheck for both, it makes sense I think Lomachenko wins by KO late.

First time I've watched this fight since it happened. Yes what Salido did was bad, yes he should have had points deducted, NO it was not even close to what Maidana did against Mayweather or Golata against Bowe. He used an illegal technique hiting his man on the hips to take away his movement, BUT, they call it hitting BELOW the belt not hitting ON the belt because the importance of the rule is to TAKE AWAY NUTSHOTS! (which Salido wasn't doing. Golata was simply winding up and blasting Bowe between the legs with uppercuts. No comparision.

Below the belt is below the belt, he should have been disqualified really for how many he had in that fight.

Ok.. where did I mention the Maidana fight or that what he did was good for boxing???

And Salido committed way more fouls than Maidana did. Why are you talking about Maidana??

Should Maidana have been disqualified, for his constant kidney and rabbit punches, elbows, low blows, kicks and takedown attempts, yes or no?

No telling if Salido hears the final bell, but he'll be comprehensively beaten.
As for taking this long......BLAME Salido. Bob has been trying to make this rematch since right after the Russel fight. And has been offering career type money for the veteran.

TBH, I've only really seen that fight live and it's been so long. I definitely remember Maidana being dirty in that fight but I can't really remember the extent of it, with Loma-Salido I've rewatched it more than once and for some reason it stands out in my mind more.

So I can't really say whether Maidana should have also been DQ'd, I had Floyd winning that fight though if you take me for some Floyd hater anyway.
