Johnny Nelson, Lennox Lewis, Naseem Hamed, Barry Mcguigan, Glen Mccrory, Ricky Hatton, Richie Woodhall, Duke Mckenzie, Frank Bruno, Nigel Benn, Chris Eubank, etc all have been been on TV as pundits and at the front row of the big fights in recent years..

yet Ken Buchanan - for a all time British great who is still alive, I think it's bad that he isn't never invited occasionally onto Sky TV to be a pundit and things like that. he's a top 3 best ever british boxer.

and all these were good world champions yet you rarely see them on TV
    Clinton Woods
    Robin Reid
    Alan Minter
    Carl Thompson
    Glen Catley
    Wayne Mccullough

The Welsh featherweight Steve Robinson? Has he ever been a pundit? I don't remember seeing him.

He made 7 successful defences of his WBO world title until he ran in to Naz.

We have a few forgotten world champs that may not ever be behind a mic but are not very often mentioned -
Paul Ingle, Scott Harrison, Carl Thompson, Jnr Witter dont seem to be mentioned much, which is a shame

It's a shame.. You'd think he was dead the way he is never in the boxing media. I've been watching boxing for about 12 years and I don't think I've seen him on TV once. He's a legend.

Yep, though Scott Harrison would probably be a liability to be on TV

For Burns' last fight In a ideal world you'd expect Sky to get Scott Harrison and Ken Buchanan in the front row.

You have to be articulate not just a good boxer if you want to be a TV pundit several of those mentioned are not a bit like a certain heavyweight. Know wot I mean Arry?

    Dennis Andries.
He was virtually anonymous when he held the world title ! He rode the tube home with his WBC belt in his sports bag on the night he won the title.

And he was an absolute warrior.
He went to Detroit to fight Thomas Hearns in his own backyard with no support, took a beating the turned up at the Kronk gym soon after and asked Manny Steward to train him.

Dennis Andries was a proper blue-collar top fighter.
