Yes, David was there, but it was the interview with Vitali that has made me confident Vlad's winning the fight...........Catch Vitali's interview, his latest one..............

Klit by mid round knockout after a dominating performance. Klit is simply too fast, too skilled and too expeianced for AJ.

Really don't see how a public workout will give any insight into how the fight will play out. For a starter, Wlad is throwing combo's and we all know come fight night, that wont happen. If he can pull the trigger then we're in for a great fight and I have it 50/50.

No denying Wlad looked good, he's always been a tremendous athlete he clearly has better technique and is faster than Joshua. But hitting the pads is one thing, being able to transfer that to what he does in the ring is harder, Wlad has fought one way for a decade now can he really change it up and alter a decade of muscle memory.

Joshua looked to be throwing a lot of hooks, he may very well be looking to take this fight on the inside and not box with Wlad knowing he can't win on the outside, I see him trying to rough up Wlad. Question is can he overcome Wlad's clinching to do so?

I know it's crazy how people become so obsessed with pad work, pads don't throw punches, punches throw punches.

Look at Fury & Ortiz, neither of them look amazing on the pads yet we all know what they are capable of.

It might go down like that but I think you're ignore all the finer details of the art of boxing.
Wladimir's a proven boxer with skills. He's mastered his style. He's got a huge punch in both hands and he has intelligence in the ring. He makes the most of what he's got.
Anthony Joshua has never shown any great boxing ability, he's never had the chance to, and he's never faced any good professional opponents. His defence looks a bit porous, he stands too square on, he doesn't move his head much. He's very basic - at the moment.

That's where your scenario fails. It doesn't matter that both men are theoretically "in range" at the same distance, when one of them is inferior defensively, more square-footed and less experienced.
    It's boxing, not a simply shoot-out.

Just an amazing fight. I'm so happy both fighters seem to be in tremendous shape, no cancellations or injuries. This is great for the HW division and I'm just hoping the fight will deliver so we can get over the mess a lunatic Tyson Fury has tossed the division into.

And if the fight goes beyond 5 rounds? What if it gets to the championship rounds? Is Joshua going to have the stamina? Can he go the distance if he has to?

That shows you how many casuals are on this forum who never were in a boxing gym.
Even an average boxer looks good on the pads with a little bit of practice , it is perfect to make a fighter look
    better than he is.

I imagine there is also a fair bit of "kidology" being implemented. Joshua would have wanted to look slower in the workout perhaps to make Vlad think that he has the speed edge over him and he is just looking for one shot, likewise Vlad may have wanted to look as quick and as high an output as possible to put seeds of doubt into Joshua to have him think he will be like that come fight night.

However this means nothing neither will be giving away what they will have been working on for the fight that would be stupid. These workouts are primarily for the public./fans to increase sales.

looks like from the training footage we have seen Wlad is going to use movement and throw quick punches and move etc. Will it work? Who knows? Would be hilarious if he throws 12 punches a round like Haye and Fury did and wins a UD. Brits will have to call it a 'masterclass' and a 'schooling'.
