So basically his plans to return in July were all bull**** as he's only now decided he's definitely coming back. Good to know all this time off hasn't changed him, still openly lying to the public and fans.
No doubt in my mind he will lose the weight. We aren't talking about an average joe blow off of the street (although he may look as such), we are talking about a guy who has been through many training camps and has a history of showing he can drop weight. From that aspect, I wouldn't be surprised if he lost the weight, but I do have concerns whether he comes back as good a boxer as he left.
The winner of the AJ-Klitschko fight certainly won't regard him as irrelevant. * If Klitschko wins the Fury defeat is STILL hanging over him. Klitschko probably doesn't want to deal with him ever again but if Fury gets in shape and has a fight, he's an actual thorn in the side of Klitschko. * If AJ wins, him and Hearn will be praying Fury gets back in shape. It's by far the biggest possiblr fight. It's all down to Tyson Fury whether he does or doesn't. I certainly don't think he's become irrelevant. Here in the UK he's very relevant. Post-Saturday night that will become clear. I daresay that realization is precisely what's motivating Fury right now, if he's serious here.
Fury already DUCKED Wlad twice for the rematch, for a sold out arena fight in Fury's own backyard. With every possible hometown advantage tilted in Fury's favor. And still Fury chose to DUCK that fight. It won't ever get any better for Fury, yet he still ducked! So, no. Nothing from Fury is 'hanging over Wlad's head' anymore. Wlad was ready to walk into Fury's backyard to fight him and Fury ducked him not once but twice, with multiple lies produced in the process. Wlad has nothing left to prove to Fury and Wlad has already said he won't attempt to fight Fury ever again because he simply can't waste more time with him. Wlad is spot on.
There are a few huge pay days still out there for him, as much as he's ballooned I'll be very surprised if he doesn't return
Yeah, he's done what most inactive boxers have done. Keep promising the imminent comeback then delaying it a little longer. I don't know if that's "lying" as such, it's just the intention to come back always comes and goes a bit before they finally get round to doing it. They do like to stay in the public eye and it gets the attention. David Haye recently pulled the same trick for about 3 or 4 years straight. To be fair, he did finally re-emerge.
Say what you want, I'm pretty sure Wlad would rather have had a win over Fury. The score is 1-0 to Fury. You know that. The whole world knows it.
If you DUCK a fight twice, don't show up in the ring without any injury... and instead blow up to 375 lbs and say that you never want to box again.. it's basically like forfeiting a challenge and admitting defeat. Fury is 100% irrelevant right now. No TV station, no big promoter will touch him with a 10 ft. pole. He's damaged goods and will need multiple tune ups before he will be able to headline any fight.
So fury fights and beats wlad in wlads own back yard but then ducks him when every possible advantage is for him so what your saying is that fury went into wlads back yard and beat him when every advantage was against him but after winning when the tide has turned and he's the home fighter fighting in his back yard with every advantage now in his favour he ducks him. Come on mate. I'm not quite sure what went on with him not fighting but fury never ducked him
