I would assume they are juicing. Regardless of whether they tested positive I would assume they use PEDs.

The boar thing is interesting though. It does sound like the kind of thing two giant gypsys would do, eat a boar a week. The gypsy stereotypes might play to their advantage here.
... and if they can find a pig farmer to confirm they ate all of his uncastrated boars, they'll have to walk on this.
    LOL

Probably, although they can apparently produce a "witness", a butcher who says they purchased one boar a week. Fury was a vegetarian though, at least at some point. Taking it all together, this seems like a bs, made up excuse.

Do you know what the Furys tested positive for?

The article said they have a butcher ready to corroborate.

    Nandrolone, I believe.
    That's what reports say.
And that's exactly what medical studies have concluded eating boar can do to you.

That's pretty good. It's a solid defence. Whether we think it's true or not, it's the kind of defence you'd have to take seriously if you were the judging panel for this.
It really depends on the surrounding details of the case.

Peter Fury's no mug. He knows a bit about legal matters I believe.

I wouldn't waste a lot of energy defending them until there is official confirmation of what ped they are accused of taking. There may be some nexus between wild boar consumption and excessive nandrolone levels in the blood but all of this seems a little too convenient to me to be credible.

I'm not defending them. I wouldn't waste my energy doing that.
I'm explaining that on the given facts as we know them, the Furys might actually have a case to get cleared.
Being cleared isn't the same as being innocent.
We'll see how it pans out though.

If it is nandrolone, I would be curious as to the levels in their bodies. Trace amounts they may be able to get away with but not so much with very high levels.

Eating? I'd have guessed the contamination was sexually transmitted.
