What if he had fought Liles,Benn,or Eubanks instead of Jones how would his career had played out plus Jones knew Toney was killing himself to make weight that's why he fought him in the first place but it caught with him against Tarver. By the way would Toney be the unified champ against these guys and how by ko,tko,or ud, sd, md.

Killing himself to make weight ? Thats Toneys problem he had just moved up in weight and if he still couldnt make weight even at 168 thats his fault for living like a pig. That said Toneys never used weight as an excuse for that fight just some of his moron fans did. Jones whipped his in a shutout making weight comfertable wont change 7 rounds for Toney.

RJJ beyond the glory has a clip of Toney there openly admitting that he lost the fight fair and square with no excuses so his fans can talk junk till they explode.

Toney's weight problems were supposed to be a thing of the past, at 160, before the Jones fight. All the talk was how much more comfortable he was at 168 and how he was better. Then after the RJJ fight, all the "weight-drained" talk comes out.

Toney probably was somewhat drained, but how often do you think Toney really was in tip-top shape? Jones usually or always beats Toney due to styles. Toney would beat Benn and Eubank. Eubank would have a better chance. Liles could have Toney some problems but I still think Toney wins that one.

toney is just another one of many fighters who have had lots of problems with weight, like the other poster said, even if he fought jones at 175 he would've lost so i don't really buy the weight-drained excuse... i mean when he fought for the middleweight championship against nunn, he weighed in at 157 and looked freakin fantastic, young strong and powerful, and he can't make 168 just 3 or 4 years later? that's got to be his own fault

I think that Benn and Eubank were too much risk for too little money. That's why Toney and Jones avoided fighting them.

I think its more a case of Eubank avoiding Toney and jones. Eubank even admits it himself.

I think Toney was avoiding Benn. You might be right on Eubank.

Toney, unlike that ******, Bernard Hopkins FEARS NO ****ING MAN on the planet, and that includes all Heavyweights, and UFC guys. Toney would take the boat to Skull Island and fight King Kong if Kong called him out on Best Damned Sports Show. Thats why he took on RJJ.

Toney would have eaten Benn alive, no reason to avide the Dark Destroyer, stylistically he was Nigel's daddy.

Eubank is more of a stylistic puzzle for Toney.

What if Toney had trained hard instead of eating and running his mouth?
