If he wasn't getting pounded, then why was Wlad on his back, on the canvas? He just fell down by accident? FFS..
It is hilarious how clueless boxing fans you people are. This fight was exciting? It prove something? What did it prove? That Anthony Joshua is still a hype job? That his power is overrated? Corrie Sanders destroyed a prime Wlad in 4 minutes. It took Joshau 11 rounds to TKO the washed up slowing Klitscko. Wlad was a great champion? Why? Because he faced bums for 11 years and made people for get about the heavyweight division? What world class Hall of Famers did he beat? Then the stupid hatred for Deontay Wilder. You hate somebody they don't fight the fighters you want? Yeah that is clearly a reason to hate a person you don't know. Joshua fights nobodies. Including this fight. Wilder had a fight against Povetkin fall through because Alex was on the juice. How is that Wilder's faught? The guys Wilder fought were no worse than the people Wlad fought for the last 11 years or the people Joshua is fighting now. All of them are overrated. That being said Wilder would clean Joshua's clock in a round or 2. Joshua doens't move his head. He just sits their slow and confused. Lucky guys like Lennox Lewis, Mike Tyson, or George Foreman aren't around anymore. They would knock out Wlad, Wilder and Joshua in the same night.
Are you a mong? Do you literally want to watch Wlad punched into unconsciousness? He was done and it was obvious to see. Who wants to watch an older fighter seriously hurt just to satisfy your desire for closure. Not me.
Wonder what happens if the ref let it go, and Joshua punched himself out. No head punches landed in that final sequence. I hope they rematch. Best heavyweight fight in a while.
Can't compare the two. Tyson was much better than Joshua, and would have annihilated this current Wlad within a couple rounds max. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
Obviously Joshua landed everything before that, but he didn't land anything on the final flurry that caused the ref to stop it. The ref got scared and ended it.
