People underestimate Wilder, Wlad's speed and athleticism gave Joshua all sorts of problems, and Wilder is younger, faster, and more athletic than Wlad, coupled with insane power and a massive reach, I think Wilder could easily knock AJ out.

How come AJ didn't call him out post fight?

What about Holmes at age 42 vs Ray Mercer?

The round Joshua first knocked down Wlad he was almost KOd before the bell and the next round he when he was down survived by the skin of his teeth.

I've been a Wlad critic for years because of his caution, survival & boring style but he's won a lot of respect from me tonight. To get up twice in the 11th especially after that uppercut was brave, courageous and honourable.

Let's be honest though, Wlads 6th round success came because of Joshua's 5th round success. Joshua caught Wlad too early in the round and punched himself out while unsuccessfully trying to end it. In doing so he left himself too fatigued to defend himself and Wlad nearly had him out of there but Joshua took his biggest shot and got back up, many fighters in the past would have laid out on the canvass and if not unconscious they'd have had no desire for more of the same.

AJ did the right thing, he took two rounds to let his head clear and for his lungs to refuel his muscles then he took the fight back to Wlad and proved he still had knockout power in the late late rounds.

Quality fight, respect to both fighters!

Things I learned from your comment
    1. This fight wasn't exciting.
    2. Klitchko is a bum (and so are all of his opponents for the past 11 years)
    3. Wilder is the real deal

Much respect to Wlad. This is how boxing goes. The young beat the old. Props to Wlad because he turned himself into a hof fighter after a rough start ands almost took out the young upstart!

What I was saying in other, Joshua is a bigger threat than Mercer. He held all the physical advantages and is simply better. Holmes had height, reach, and speed on Mercer.

Mercer got out boxed by Jesse Ferguson twice, Joshua would probably tear Ferguson's head off.

For record, I believe Wlad could still be effective against smaller men. But against Fury and Joshua, he's conceding every physical advantage at an advanced age. Not happening.

I think you've just offended every piece of pig sh*t in the world. Just ignore posters like that - they clearly have no idea or are drunk and hyped up.

It's a very dangerous fight for Joshua. Josh didn't have to call him out. Wilders time is coming.

I believe I picked Joshua by decision so he surprised me with the Knockout Win.

Great fight, though Joshua being ahead by that margin on two cards is troubling. I'm glad it ended with a knockout and not what would have been yet another controversial decision had things continued as they had been.
