Haha right, best opponents only if you follow boxing for 4-5 years.

Wlad was slipping badly already at around Pulev fight. No control over fights as before, distance feeling got worse, was forced to fight more... simply got a tad slower, which is enough to become beatable.

Fury I think would beat anyone Wlad has fought including Joshua.

Joshua I think is up there with the best Wlad has fought, I still think Wlad beats Povetkin now, but that's due to styles.

Explain how FURY was one of Wlad's biggest fights? Fury was a random mandatory challenger. The fight did NOT gather massive interest from the public like the Haye, Povetkin or AJ fight.

He had that great performance vs Povetkin, but yeah around the Pulev fight he looked notably off, and the Jennings fight left no doubt about it, and then of course we all saw how his last two fights went.

It's difficult to say really. In his prime Wlad made most of his opponents look like novices. How much did father time play in both of these defeats?

Fury would not have survived the punches Klitschko did tonight. Remember FURY has been dropped by journeymen in the past. FURY turned the klitschko fight into a non punch throwing farce by holding and sweating over him like a big seal

    WTF?

Tyson had too long of a reach, was too quick, his movement head flustered Klitschko and had too good of a jab. Tyson Fury outboxed Klitschko from long distance. WTF is this holding bs? Watch the fight again pal

No thanks it was awful and 99% of the people who watched it said the same. How many punches were thrown in the Fury v Klitscko fight?

Wlad wasn't able to throw the punches he threw tonight again Joshua because Joshua is an up and down fighter where as Fury moves laterally and has lots of head movement. Horses for courses, styles make fights.

Fury wasn't almost decapitated by a Klitschko right hand like AJ was tonight, but I agree with you tonight was FAR more exciting and I'd pay to watch this fight again and again.

I'm still sticking to my opinion that Fury would beat and frustrate Joshua, but Joshua showed us that he can come back from adversity which I think answers a lot of questions.

Both fighters from tonight ANNIHILATE Wilder.

Yes. I said that before Wlad even fought Fury. I wanted to see what Wlad could do when he faced someone his own size, height, someone in great physical condition(Joshua) and someone in their prime(Fury, Joshua hasn't reached his yet).

Wlad and his brother feasted on short, small out of shape or past their prime fighters. In fairness to Wlad he is just past his prime(barely) and he put up a better fight against Joshua than most people were predicting.

But yeah Wlad is 0-2 against the two best guys he ever faced. Maybe he will try Wilder next. lol. Another big, tall , athletic, powerful in his prime fighter. I think Wlad win that fought right now at 41(if he doesn't get caught with something crazy), still would love to see it.

Having said that it's really not going to effect where people rank him on their ATG list. Most people had him in the 10 to 15 range before the fight. He isn't going to drop because he lost a fight against a guy(Joshua) many people are saying will go on to be the better ever at 41 y/o. Now if he would of won his last two fights most people would have put him in their top 5 maybe top 3.

For comparison sake, an unmotivated, inactive, out of shape 38 y/o Lennox Lewis was able to stop a prime Vitali in six rounds. I rank both Klitschko brothers around 10 or 11. Vitali doesn't have the resume of Wlad but he was the better fighter imo. But I have Lennox in my top 5 as he was a superior fighter to the Klitschko brothers.
