Wlad looked exactly like he did vs pulev

Aj just had better defense & a good chin

Fury would've beat any version of wlad with that awkward game plan in & out the ring

Younger wlad never beat a fighter with size & skill like aj

Prime Wlad got destroyed by Corrie Sanders in 4 minutes. Corrie Sandrers would knock out AJ in 2 minutes. But Wlad would of beat AJ back when he was in his 20's to early 30's. That isn't saying much. AJ just isn't that good. If Wlad wasn't so afraid to be hit he would of knocked out AJ yesterday.

Wladimir was not at his best against Pulev either. He was 41 years old against Joshua. That is the best Wladimir at 41, but obviously not the best Wladimir.

Prime Wladimir is post manual Stewart. Not Corrie sanders I'm afraid.

Younger Klitchko could UD joshua thats for sure. I dont think you can safely say Joshua pulls out the late TKO in every fight between the two.

Wlad is 41. He did better than most people thought. Ring magazine was 29-1 in favor of Joshua and espn was 12-1 in experts taking Joshua, in short the experts didn't think Joshua was going to lose in fact most thought he would win going away as did his team otherwise they wouldn't have taken the fight.
The fact it was even after 10 rounds and Wlad was a punch or two away from a stoppage win in round 6 has to give pause to the Joshua hype.
One day later the narrative is shifting to this being pre Prime Joshua to shield him from critics regarding his ability because his supporters don't want to admit that if a 41 old Wlad did this a prime Wlad likely wins. In short Wlad at this moment would be favored over Joshua If Wlad was a few years younger. He has to be based on yesterday. However Joshua can still improve and I hope he has a good reign. The sport deserves it.
Similar to when Holyfield fought Foreman I remember in the immediate aftermath everyone said if Foreman was younger he would of destroyed Holyfield. Now Holyfield went on to have great career and the outcome of that hypothetical is more debatable. Same thing with Joshua if he has great career we can revisit but right now Prime Wlad beats him.

Well duh captain obvious of course prime Wlad would of beaten him, I don't think it's even up for debate.

Joshua is still a relative novice despite being a unified champion, he started boxing in 2008 and has only had 19 fights now. Wlad 19 fights in was fighting Cody Koch not a former world champion.

Even if you think prime Wlad would of been too cautious to get the mid round KO, what's to say a younger, faster, fresher Wlad couldn't of gone the distance and won a decision. He would of likely won more rounds and not tired as badly at the end and lasted the distance.

The uppercut toppled Wlad and the following barge of combos finished him off. Nothing to do with him getting tired.
I was convinced he had the fight in the bag going into the 11th.

Wlad was never that agile and nimble on his feet before. There's an argument that last nights WK was the best version that ever stepped into the square circle.

Oh Vitali and Lennox would have fun battles, matched at any time ;)

No clue about this, I can see your reasoning though. I honestly think WK would be extremely careful, much more than here, fighting AJ five years ago. AJ is quick and has power, would be dangerous. WK would just jab him to death, similar to the Haye fight and many others.

It's funny that both brothers got undone by the lack of the infight game. With infight game, VK would never sustained those cuts and WK would have never eaten that uppercut.

ah that's just not true. take a look at Peter's fight for example. WK has always had a great footwork, everything he did started with his footwork and holding distance.
Here it was a clear decision to come in light to be fast enough to match AJ's speed. He wouldn't last long being 5kg heavier and fighting flatfooted as against others in the last few years. He's clearly slower and reflexes are not what they used to be. If you don't believe it, then you must think AJ is such a great technical boxer as he was winning most of the boxing match against WK. He's not (he's ok though).
