I agree with what seems to be the consensus that Wlad should consider hanging them up and calling it a day. Not because he doesn't have his mojo anymore - he clearly does - but because he's getting old and it would be nice to see him get out of the game with all his marbles.
Did you see the reaction from Joshua when he ate that right? Now that's badly hurt. Another punch and he's out cold. Close damn fight.
I pretty much agree with this. Wlad must be kicking himself for not finishing Joshua off in the 6th...and being so close to winning by KO, he will probably want a rematch. He can probably rationalize that he was out of the ring for so long too...what was it...17 months? Even at 41, I would guess that Wlad thinks with another camp, he could be better. Yes, Wlad is 41 now...but honestly if Wlad looked exactly like he did on Saturday, except he was 34 instead of 41...everyone would be calling for, and expecting a rematch. Because of that, I don't think age should necessarily play a factor in if there is a rematch or not.
Only if they cant make a Klitchko vs Fury rematch. However Wlad doesnt make it out of mid rounds next time. The intangibles that no one knew are now laid out ...this is an EASY pick with the first one in place and how i know it should go down. Joshua knocks Wlad out in 4.
The first fight was a classic , it can't get any better and Wlad wouldn't have better chances in a rematch , he should secure his new gained respect for his unbelievable performance and go on to fight Parker or Wilder , because he can definitely beat them , the question is wether Parker or Wilder would dare to fight him , i doubt it. It would be a great opportunity for Wlad to become champion again and to fullfil his dream to be a three time world heavyweight champion.
