He has to step up. I like him but it's getting ridiculous.

In one way its a compliment to him.

Obviously boxing fans have enjoyed his fights and therefore want to see him keep going up the ladder rather than just playing on it.

I want to like Wilder. I have in the past and I can again. He signs a deal with Parker and the fight takes place and all will be forgiven as far as I'm concerned.

He will carry on fighting bums to build that record then get wiped out by a top fighter than retire and beg for ATG status......

The Povetkin fight would've done a lot for Wilder, had he managed to defeat a drug-free Sasha with no controversy, especially in Sasha's backyard. That's all water under the bridge now, since we will never see that fight (which is a shame).

I used to be high on Povetkin... especially following that post-Klitschko KO streak he went on... but the drug tests he's been failing since then (and Povetkin himself) are all old news at this point. Wilder has ruled out fighting previously confirmed drug cheats, which he has since used as his justification for ruling out Povetkin. So having said this...

Boxing is a "what have you done for them lately" sport and Deontay Wilder is being put up to the plate once again. Fans want to see him in with a legitimate Top 10 or higher opponent now that he's recovered from his grotesque hand and arm injuries.

He needs to get the Parker fight done. It would be classified as a unification fight and Parker actually went to Alabama to watch Deontay's last fight against Gerald Washington.

I'd consider the Parker fight acceptable for Wilder right now. Will it actually happen? We'll see.

And if he does so, I will pull for him to somehow get 'viciously' KTFO by Bellew.

Unlike many people here, I've never once outright wished for Deontay Wilder to lose before, but this would be a tipping point.

Wilder doesn't have to take that fight unless Bellew eventually becomes a mando for him. He has leverage by being a champion and therefore, he could get better opposition than a former career LHW/CW if he wanted it.

Tony Bellew is a ballsy fighter regardless of weight class, but Wilder should know better.

So you spend your whole time bagging on GGG but you're a Wilder fan. The guy who's worse than GGG at what you criticize him for.
