If the ref let it continue would Joshua have gassed out again?

I think the ref stopped it SLIGHTLY early in the 11th and had he not I was very curious if Joshua would have had enough gas or would have gassed out again. What do you guys think?

It's possible that Wlad could have turned it around like in the 5th and halted AJs momentum, maybe even kdd or stopped AJ.

It's much more likely Wlad gets brutally and embarrassingly stopped. Maybe even jeopardizing his long tem health.

    It was a good stoppage.

What caused the first gassing out of joshua...was a punch from wlad. I dont think it was due to joshuas workrate. Exactly the same with the dillon whyte gassing joshua went through.

Theres nothing wrong with aj,s stamina actually think its very good. The problem is when he gets hit...his stamina goes. I dont think joshua would have gassed unless wlad hit him with something. At that point i m not sure he had that much to give out.

Definetely a good stoppage. There will always been a very slight doubt he could have came back...kind of surprised klitchko took the knockdowns as well as he did bearing in mind he took the uppercut etc. I dont think he was totally gone. But it was the right call...ref gave him the oppertunity thats all you can ask really.

No,difference between Wlad going down in the 5th and that brutal uppercut in the 11th,that shot must of really hurt and that he stayed on his feet at all was incredible but come on after being dropped twice already and taking a pounding stuck on the ropes what was the ref supposed to do,also I never saw Wlad or his corner complaining about the stoppage, that's usually the best indication.
AJ with just one round left was gonna give his all and in my opinion wouldn't have gassed until he'd really hurt Wlad and I'm sure I speak for everyone on here in that we don't wanna see fighters take any more punishment than is nessacery.

Good stoppage. Wlad didn't complain. However had he survived he could of come back look at Joshua's reaction he Was exhausted. He didn't celebrate and didn't even lift his arms

Stoppage was premature IMO. As said Joshua was gassed - couldn't even lift his arms to celebrate. If Wlad was young and hungry he would have been furious - as a middle aged millionaire he accepted it.

His tank would have been empty going into the 12th. There is a very good chance Wlad would have caught him with a big shot and Joshua wouldn't have his legs.

It's the HW division and the 11th round. Of course they're going to be exhausted.

I think it was stopped 1 clean shot early but Wlad was in much worse shape than he was in the 5th, another big shot was definatly coming. Joshua may of gassed but Wlad would of had pretty much nothing left at all and shaky legs from then on in and i dont think it could of took him through a round and a half.

Yea people can say that Joshua was gassed, but so was Wlad. Of course they're gassed it's the 11th round.

Yeah but look at Joshua's reaction when it was stopped he couldn't even raise his arms. Had Wlad survived Joshua may have found himself in trouble like he did in the 5th. I'm ok with the stoppage.

Yes, Joshua gave a lot in round 11.. I'd be more confused if he wasn't tired after that!

But the knock downs would have had a big impact on the scorecards, especially since Joshua was up on two. Think he goes into 12 up on all the official cards assuming it's a 10-7 round.

He gassed by throwing punches. It was when he showed he was tired, that's when Wladimir started to connect. I think even Joshua admitted that he blew his gasket in the fifth round when he landed the combo's. His stamina is not that great, which is not a surprise when you see how muscular he is. He's like 250lbs of muscle, that's going to take it out of you lol
