He's not even training seriously, he's just messing around. The interviewer never shuts up and doesnt let him train properly, mikey's just making some fun.

I'd have prefered to watch a more serious training video, you cant make conclusions from that one.

 

Yeah he must have been killing himself to make feather weight. Don't think there is any massive challenge for him at lightweight though so he may move up to 140 soon

 

Power is the most important thing in boxing. It's not even up for debate. We have 17 weight classes just to try and minimize the effect power has on a boxing fight. When you step into the ring and have to personalize your own fighting style you must first take a mental note. That is do I have power? If yes you tailor your style around having big power. If no you tailor your style around not having big power.

 

Skill is the most important thing in boxing! mayweather has done alright with only knocking out 2 people in the last 12 years.

Overall intelligence is MOST important. One thing you forget is that guys like golovkin and Kovalev are very intelligent boxers who set up their power well. How many times do you need to see someone's power negated to realize this?

IQ and timing, very important. A smart fighter can avoid power, can time speed.
