Relax, one look at the fight in Saturday demonstrates that there are major holes in AJ's game and Ortiz IMO can exploit them.

I don't think theres a dominant heavy at the moment. Povetkin Wilder Joshua Klitschko, wouldn't be surprised if any of them come out on top.. AJ isn't gonna dominate like klit did imo. Its took Klit to age for them all to catch up

Would love to see povetkin give it to AJ

Hearn isn't going to go anywhere near Ortiz either

He'll make a Pulev or Parker fight next

They'll drop the IBF the Joshua camp.

WBC will sanction the rematch with Klitschko for the autumn and make Fury WBC Emeritus Champion and sanction that for next April. This of course f**ks Ortiz, he will be nearly 40 by the time his chance comes.

people with jobs and lives usually don't feel the need to call a stranger over the internet some petty childish slurs like that. you sound about 12 years old, I think I'll leave you alone.

So after Joshua's jab was totally nullified by Takam's head movement last night, struggling at times to land clean punches against Takam's cute slipping and rolling, this thread gains even more credibility IMO.

More confusion this morning suggests that Ortiz may yet remain WBA mandatory so we may see this fight in March 2018 still.

I maintain that Ortiz stops Joshua. Causes AJ the world of problems with his jab and unless Joshua can somehow get King Kong out there early, a faded Joshua in the mid-to-late rounds would be a mouse being fed to a cat against the ugly Cuban.

    Ortiz KO8.

Without using the cliche quotes about AJ how is Ortiz a threat.

Every boxer is a threat once in a fight. But can you specifically refer to elements that make Ortiz a threat

Anyone who has seen Ortiz and Joshua box should be able to see why but I will indulge you.

Better jab, better footwork, pin point counter punching and knockout power.

Ortiz has far better footwork than any of Joshua's opponents other than Klitschko. He has great ability at shuffling in and out of range and his movement is excellent. The reason he was so disappointing against Scott is because he likes to be the mover and not the predator.

Ortiz sizes up so well to Joshua, couple of inches shorter but he actually has longer reach. He weighs in between 230-240 and is a big lump.

He is a southpaw. The only southpaw I believe Joshua has boxed in the pro ranks is Martin and he was a clown of a champion. Nistor the Romanian midget outboxed Joshua as an amateur and we have seen nothing to suggest that Joshua will be able to deal with a competent world level southpaw.

The power and the counter punching is why I believe Joshua gets KO'd.

Let's pray WBA have indeed kept Ortiz as mandatory because this is the best realistic fight out there for Joshua on a competitive note.
