I don't get the whole 'my people' thing though as for me 'my people' means people I like and they come in all shapes, sizes colours and religions (or lack thereof).

We need to stop letting out ethnicities define us IMO. We are who we are for a much wider range of characteristics and what part of the world our ancestry happen to come from is but a tiny part of who we are. Just my 2 cents!

 

I honestly like how hyped you are, I like your positivity but it is ridiculously early to be talking ATG.

You will have some (not me) that make the argument Joshua was dropped heavy and went life and death with a 41 year old who hadn't fought for nearly a year and a half, the same 41 year old who was humiliated in his own backyard by Fury in his last fight.

Although I don't agree entirely I have to admit they do make a strong argument.

 

Yep agree. right now despite a very good win lets not forget even thought its the clean living Wlad 41 inactive and 69 pro fights is 41 inactive and 69 pro fights......at world title level the last 17 years no less......no matter how much wlad talks of his enthusiasm he is worn and still he pushed AJ to the wire....the very wire.......

Klicthko to me showed me he is an ATG number 12 in my opinion.

Right now the division apart from the titlists and fury and wlad lacks any other kind of quality or depth........wheras even when wlad was in the middle of his reign (circa 2004-2005 u stillhad a devarryl Williamson,james toney or lamon Brewster around ...dangerous American heavies......I actually think bermaine steverne could give AJ all kinds of problems.

Spot on. AJ was visibly gasping in round 2. The balls on this Brit are amazing....19th fight ffs...Wlad is 41 but he was still easily one of the top 3 HWS in the world right now....based on the other night he still beats wilder and parker........even a shot wlad is better than pretty much anything out there and he wasn't shot.....not by a long shot

 

Its a little on the early side to be calling AJ an ATG. Far too early, but he is on the right road to getting there, no doubt of that. We shall see how the next four or five years pan out. That will tell us all we need to know.

 

Far from atg, to do that you need to establish a reign and come back from losses to regain the mantle (unless your Marciano).

It's too early to talk about ATG fighter. There will be a rematch, then a fight with Tyson Fury, Wilder will not come near him nor Vlad, nor probably not Parker, Ortiz, Ruiz, just winos from the alley.................Wilder has had five voluntary title defenses in a row, Vitali could come out of retirement without a tuneup and knock Wilder out.........Great fight, can't wait for the rematch, another 50/50 fight, hope it's as good as the first one..........
