if joshua fights pulev next as the ibf is stating how does it go ?

Pulev has a great jab, well schooled all rounder, tough as nails. He won every single round against Chisora

60/40 or 65/35 fight in favour of Joshua, but Pulev is a quality fighter and much better than people on here give him credit for, it would be a tough night for Joshua, Pulev would have a chance for sure. But I think Joshua late stoppage 9-12

 

AJ takes a few rounds to figure him out then knocks him out imo.

Pulev is decent but not in the top 5.

 

Whilst he made Chisora look terrible I don't see him beating AJ,didn't they try and get Pulev not long ago and he declined?

 

Pulev's defense is questionable and his power is not that great. He still leaves the left out there and can be hit. When Joshua opens up, he'd probably seriously hurt him.

 

No he didn't win every single round vs Chisora. Pulev also just went the distance with an ancient Kevin Johnson who Joshua steamrolled.

Joshua ends this even earlier than Klitschko did, completely different level of fighter.

 

That fight doesn't interest me. What I want to see is Povetkin vs Joshua.

 

Joshua should beat Pulev, although you never know in boxing. I want to see the rematch, it is being considered, Vlad Vs. Joshua 2, it will sell out, very exciting fight.................Wilder will never get into the ring with Joshua, Vlad, Fury, Parker, Ortiz or anyone else who can fight...............Joshua has had five voluntary title fights in a row against winos from the alley...........

 

Pulev is looking much worse since Wlad flattened him. I think his confidence is shot and he's become tentative and rusty imho.

One thing is for sure, Wilder will not come near Joshua period! Nor will he fight Vlad, Fury, Parker, Ortiz, Ruiz, or anyone else who can fight back. 5 voluntary title defenses in a row, the WBC is protecting Wilder................

 

I think Joshua stops him but don't think it's entirely routine. Pulev is a decent boxer and can make things ugly when he needs to.

 

Pulev will make it interesting in the first couple of rounds, but I can't see a path to victory here. Even in his best scenario, he isn't good enough to completely embarrass Joshua and definitely won't win a close fight in Britain. That said, Joshua will probably walk him down or counter him with a big shot and end it well before the final bell.

 

For Pulev, I really have no idea where he is right now. Seeing Joshua against a known quantity would be the most exciting thing to me.

Ortiz vs Joshua would also be good. Although Ortiz will fall apart any day from age.

 

Will be interesting to see how Joshua deals with Pulev's jab, Pulev does have a great jab, he was out jabbing Wlad, so I expect him to give Joshua problems with his jab.

But other than that Pulev has nothing to hurt Joshua with. He's not a big puncher, he won't be able to keep AJ from walking him down.

He doesn't move well as was shown in the Chisora and Arias fights, when faced with pressure he just clinches a lot as he can't get out of the way and isn't good on the inside. Joshua showed he could prevent Wlad from clinching a lot by being stronger and utilising his forearm to create space, clinching Joshua will have limited success.

So he can't keep Joshua off him and he has no answer for him when Joshua does get into mid range. Basically this fight lasts as long as Joshua lets it. He'll start off cautiously at first, take a round or 2 and maybe then when he's trading jabs with Pulev, Pulev may have some success but once he decides to put it on Pulev he'll wreck him. Lasts 4 maybe 5 rounds at the most.
