It's weird that you say Lennox "can" give him a tough one. A fat, out of shape, unfocused Lennox did fight him and won.

You really want to open this up again? Won by dark arts because he couldn't win with clean legal punches.

Id of loved Vitali to beat Lewis, but he won it fair and square. Vitali was a bit off his prime yet imo while Lennox was lazy in this fight. These 2 are the best H2H of all time I think

Definitely needs opening up again, it's been a few weeks since I've seen an angry Lewis / Vitali thread on here!

Yeah, the issue needed settled by a trilogy but one guy ran away and broke his promises. Old and fat my ass.

Vitali would give Ali fits, like norton did, fighting with the leaning back posture and hitting when he come in range,Ali had zero body attack which was his weakness

Trilogy? I think one rematch would have been enough!

Lewis, Wlad and Vitali all lost, were stopped or knocked out by smaller, arguably less skilled men.

    Size isn't the only factor.

Guys like Ali and Holmes weren't particularly small in anycase, both 6' 3 with near 80" reach.

I don't see the likes of Ali or Holmes losing to the likes of Sanders, Byrd, Brewster, McCall etc.

Anything can happen in boxing, of course, but for me, on his best night a prime Larry Holmes is capable of out boxing any heavyweight in history no matter how big they are.

Lol@ Vitali inside the top 10 :nut:

    Whats his best Win?
Peters? - Beaten by 6 foot puddin punching cruiser Chambers

Arroela? Stopped by Wilder with one arm tied behind his back

He is 0-2 against the two best guys he faced. One wasn't even a heavyweight and the other was far removed from his best years.

Lewis. Fought top guys of his time and won. The ones he lost were avenged. The GOAT.

210 pound Ziko Marovak done better against prime Lewis than Vitali done.

    Your spelling is atrocious.

Actually Lewis v Vitali was Lewis's most exciting fight so therefore by your logic he was still prime then.

And Danny Williams beat Tyson better than Lewis, but from what I recall Mavrovic (note correct spelling) put in a spirited albeit losing performance although Lewis was behind against Vitali when the fight was stopped but there you go.

From now on DinoTurd when you post to me I want to see the correct spelling of fighters names, it's the least you can do.

McCall II should have been an NC. Ridiculous that Lewis fans claim that as a legit win.
