    I KNEW IT:

    "Teddy Atlas says he’s hearing from sources that Golden Boy Promotions will be matching their fighter Saul “Canelo” Alvarez (48-1-1, 34 KOs) against former IBF middleweight champion David Lemieux (37-3 35 KOs) in September rather than Gennady “GGG” Golovkin if Canelo gets past Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (50-2-1, 32 KOs) this Saturday night in their fight at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada."

    I thought he would fight Saunders. WBO said they are ready to set Alvarez as Saunders' mandatory.

    To be honest I thought he would fight Saunders as well. But I knew that he was going to screw GGG one way or the other, that much was certain. Golovkin needs to fire Loeffler.

    Please. I don't rate Canelo highly at all, but I am sure he wouldn't get stopped by BJS. And if Canelo is still alive after 12 rounds he would get the decision. I don't even think that he needs a robbery since Akavov gave BJS major problems, but if he needs one, he will get one from the judges.

    Saunders at 100% is pretty good imho. Although his form seems rather erratic.

    That said, even if he totally beats up Canelo, they'll shove a stick up ginger's ass so that he doesn't fall over and declare him the winner anyway :deal:

    I thought BJS has to fight khutsidze. Is this not the case anymore?
    Well, I wouldn't be surprise if indeed after Chavez, it's Canelo-Lemieux. Not a bad fight itself but I truly believe they are banking on the idea of waiting GGG to decline with age.

    Golovkin is now so old that if Canelo leaves it any longer the win won't mean nothing as Canelo is in his prime.
    Lemieux though regardless of GGG is a fight I'd watch as we know he has sickening power and it would be a yard stick against GGG.

    Whoever it will be, it's not Golovkin, who's wasting another year on a fight that won't happen before he clearly past it.

    Wouldn't surprise me if they did and even as a GGG fan if he doesn't get the Canelo fight in September he only has himself to blame for deviant DLH pulling his pants down.....GGG should take the BJS fight, get all the belts then Canelo literally has no where to go.
