why do try so hard to make yourself look a fool, when you know you just yesterday liked one of my supportive wlad posts? keep doing it by all means but it does u no favours
At least im not attracted and obsessed with other users like you are with me. You mention me in almost every post you make. Its pretty clear that you going around insulting me to other users is an attempt to regain some of your dignity after i demolish you in every boxing related topic. Basically you just come here to pester people for your own amusement. Keep my name out of your mouth you sad 40 year old joke of a man.
Look , Wlad would clinch , hug , bear box his way to victory over Tunney , but so could nikolai valuev.. Big deal
If Dempsey would have knocked the ring rust off before Tunney and had a manager that understood boxing at that point and wouldn't have agreed to the larger ring. I think it would have been a much different outcome. Even without the ring size, if Dempsey would have been an active fighter before Tunney, he would've more than likely beat him. I don't see Tunney matching Wlad's attributes and size difference.
By that logic such men like Mick Leahy, Memo Ayon, Stan Harrington, Ferd Hernandez, should be picked to beat Marvin Hagler or Carlos Monzon.
Is a guy whose reign consisted of avoiding his two best challengers, preferring out-and-out set-ups like Brennan (who took him to the brink) and Carpentier, who preferred the loser of elimination bouts to the winner, who sat on his ass for three years... is this guy still an ATG when he enters the ring in 1926? Or is ALL TIME GREAT just some pretty words your keyboard makes that signify nothing?
Tunney was quite a jab and grab fighter himself so i think without clinching he has to fight on the back foot and that's gonna be very hard for him since he isn't as tall as Fury and presumably won't have as much of a speed advantage.
Here I don't see any case for Tunney. Really ATG fighter with ATG abilities but completely unproven at HW and unlike against Foreman, he doesn't have any stylistic advantages here. I don't think that a pure boxer like Tunney could beat prime Wladimir with such a size disadvantage.
