Canelo has no power. Sep he is going to be destroyed by GGG

Canelo might look good for a couple of rounds but he's going to ship lot of shots and Golovkin can go hard to the body. He doesn't have Jacobs / Lemieux type power to keep GGG off him, while Golovkin can do better work than him at any range.

FWIW I pick Jacobs to give Canelo a thrashing too.

 

The only reason this fights been made imo is because ggg is slowing down

 

He doesn't need to be fast to land punches on a shorter, flat footed opponent like Canelo.

 

His whole game is slowing down, not as intense imo

 

We will see. GGG didn't look very good against Jacobs (still won the fight imo), but I think this fight is going to be vastly different, because Alvarez is tailor made for Golovkin stylewise and he is going to eat jabs all night long from GGG.

 

Canelo can be manoeuvred to the ropes, has been against Chavez and Kirkland. With GGG's amazing footwork if he gets him to the ropes it's over for Canelo, you can't sit on the ropes against GGG and not get badly hurt. GGG can win this fight either way, he can pressure Canelo, tire him out and win by stoppage or he can keep it long like he did against Lemieux and the plodding Canelo won't lay a glove on him.

Canelo is a good boxer but he's also not smart enough to box to a 12rnd UD

Canelo out boxes the GGG that fought jacobs all night long the question is can canelo take GGG's power, He looks much smaller that i thought he would next to GGG, Brook's punching power was enough to get GGG's attention, I think canelo hits just as hard if not harder than brook. Its an interesting match up

Canelo doesnt fight like Jacobs at all. GGG wont be cautious against him so lights out for canelo. There is a reason canelo's last 4 fights have been handpicked.

 

What skills does Triple G have that are better than Canelo, boxing wise? He got out boxed by a southpaw DJ.
