Nacho did not have enough time with Chavez, plus, you can't take a weight drained fighter and make him fight with energy. El Pollo had this planned, the reason for the huge weight loss, Chavez was also inactive........

If he wins or loses I still think his next fight after Golovkin will be Lemieux. That is unless he gets brutally Ko'd, then it might be against someone like Rosado.

Pretty much everybody said that Chavez looked healthy and not weight drained. Everybody was impressed with how easily Chavez made weight.

Jim Lampley said before the fight that the odds Chavez was going to win went all the way to 3:1. People were obviously very impressed by how healthy Chavez looked and how easily he made the weight at the weigh-in.

Chavez was letting his hands go but the 2nd round changed everything. Canelo started opening up and hurt Chavez. That changed the fight. This is what can happen when you fight Canelo. Canelo gives you a few rounds to warm up but then when he decides it's time to open up, you're just under constant attack and you can't see where the punches are coming from. That's what happened to Chavez, it was just raining a little bit but then all of a sudden it started pouring. What's Triple G gonna do when Canelo decides it's time to land 3 or 5 punch combinations over and over again? How is Triple G gonna respond, will he take a knee from the bombardment of punches?
