It's funny, when you watch GGG and Canelo face off in the ring after the fight, you would think by looking at both men, how they act, talk etc. that GGG is the A side. That man conducts himself with class and is very professional, and its just another day at the office for him. Canelo looked a bit nervous, granted he just finished fighting so will give him a pass there, but vocally Canelo came across juvenile. Saying he was born without fear, and when GGG wished him luck saying "luck is for the mediocre" lol. It's strange seeing both side by side and then realizing Canelo is in fact the A side there, Cause he doesn't look like it next to GGG.
Yeah, Golovkin and his repetive, "Mexican Style, Big Drama Show, I'm Good boy"... Canelo is not only a good elite fighter, he knows how to sell his fights. The audience was eating it up and cheering. Funny how much you guys dissect Canelo. Lol
You also conveniently left out the trash Golovkin said about Canelo including when he faced a WW at 155 only for Golovkin to turn around and do worse by bringing a WW to 160. But to each their own.
Who cares about this A-side, B-side or offside cr_p anyway?! It's about who's the best fighter in the ring coming September. Being A-side might buy you judges, but it won't buy you skill and power.
Problem is that on this occasion they are both the A side. This fight is guna be a big one, not cuz of Canelo, not cuz of Golovkin its because of both of them. It seems Mexico and America are big on Canelo but the rest of the world seems big on GGG. If this is PPV in the UK im definatly paying for it. Im paying for Canelo vs GGG, i wouldnt pay for Canelo vs anybody else.
yea same here. But at the same time I didn't buy GGG vs Jacobs either. Should be a great road to the this fight though, lots of excitement.
Sure, he has Oscar in his ear. The first non HW PPV king himself. Canelo has had an excellent team to really elevate his fame, etc. GGG has just had his 2 fists to do it. And We all know GGG doesn't speak good english, but atleast he speaks some english lol
Not if he loses he won't be. For GGG, this is the exact fight he's needed to break through to mainstream. For either fighter it's a MASSIVE win, but if GGG wins, he will own boxing much like Oscar did, and Floyd did.
Well see how tough GGG is, and how overated he is on here will finally come to light, and it will be on to the next guy, like always.
