What's up with Joe Smith Jr?

Was hoping he'd fight Stevenson to be honest but of course he's going for another one of #TBE's victims in Fonfara.

Get Smith Jr in a fight on my TV immediately.

 

he needs to just get in there and be active, if no big names will fight him. not going to improve in the ring or marketability wise sitting home and in the gym.

 

I think he will fight Pascal as a stay busy fight and then Adonis vs. Fonfara 2 winner.

 

Eleider Alvarez will face Pascal on the Stevenson vs Fonfara 2 card

 

He should fight Monneghan for local bragging rights and to mark time.

 

I don't know if he's smart enough to avoid Adonis left hand otherwise he would KO the pump pedo

 

Unfortunately for him, I think he beat the two top guys in the division that I'd have favored him over. Not sure he would beat anyone else at the top of the division.

Honestly a Stevenson fight would have KO'd him back to obscurity. There's plenty of other fights for him to make at least to find his true level before the cashout.

My oh my how irrelevant Stevenson has become. You rarely see his name pop up. While Kov and Ward do their dance again in Vegas for millions

 

I just read over at the scene in one of Eleider Alvarez article that the WBC will order an eliminator between Gvozdik and Smith Jr so in theory Stevenson may end up having to fight two mandatories back to back.

Could be a good fight, but I don't think Smith Jr has much chance against a guy like Gvozdik...

 

He is an idiot for trying add a rematch clause for the Stevenson fight, his not a big enough name to demand that. He should went in there try to beat Stevenson then he has a belt and very good resume.

I think he should push for a fight with Alvarez or even Beterbiev both give him a high ranking and both good names plus he needs to get with a big promoter like bob or Al.
