Some are trying to sell Wlad vs AJ like it was heading towards a wide decision for Wlad who totally outboxes AJ and AJ caught him and got a lucky stoppage which is B.S.. On my card they shared 2 of the first 4 and Joshua won the other 2 10-9 , if anything Wlad was being slightly outboxed in the first 3rd of that fight. In the 5th AJ let a 10 - 8 round slip and Wlad brought it back to a 10-9 Wlad won the 6th 10-8 the 7th 8th 10-9 on my card Wlad was 1 point up with 2/3 of the fight complete. the final 3rd of the fight I had Wlad edging the 9th 10-9 but AJ looking much stronger and AJ winning the 10th 10-9 so in the 10 complete rounds I had Wlad 1 point up with AJ in my opinion looking the stronger going in to the 11th , also bare in mind if Wlad had of somehow survived the 11th it was a 10-7 for AJ. I'm not saying my card is correct or not correct I just scored it how I saw it , the club I watched it in some even had AJ winning some drawing most thought Wlad was 1 or 2 rounds up a couple 3 rounds up, I'm just trying to say it was a very close fight that could of gone either way if it had gone to the cards and not the 10 round cakewalk for Wlad that some seem to be suggesting until he got banged. I think AJ grows massively after that fight and it was a great performance for somebody who'd only boxed 40 something pro rounds , can't really understand the hate , I think AJ showed massive inexperience in the 5th he had Wlad hurt but Wlad chose to go down before he got really hurt , AJ went for the kill against a still live Wlad and walked straight on to two or three meaty left hooks that really changed the fight and allowed Wlad to pick his shots more and land that sickening right hand in the sixth , I think a more experienced AJ stays behind the jab after knocking over a dangerous opponent of Wlads level and waits for the opportunity rather than trying to force it and at least sees out the round 10-8 and remains the man in control isn't in massive danger in the 6th and 7th and is well up on the cards at the half way mark , I think with experience AJ learns to control fights and stops trying to immediately walk through everyone who he has in trouble and becomes phenomenal.
