AJ does deservce credit for what he has doen in a short career, the people who discredit what he has achieved so far are jealous because Wilder/Parker havent done it. Neither have them have beaten an ATG (prime or past prime).
He doesnt have the best stamina, the best movement, the best chin (although his chin is better than most, including myself thought).
BUT he is learning, as other posters have pointed out he is still a relative novice in the pro game and already has a bigger name that Parker or Wilder on his resume.
His movement will improve, he should lose some muscle and improve his stamina however.
However the things he does well he is superb at, fast hands + combination punching for a SHW is the best in the division currently and his power is frightening.

I think the negativity he gets aside from jealousy is because he is overhyped by many.
    There is posts on here stating that he would bully and KO Ali EASILY because;
    He is bigger
    He is heavier
He runs the 100m in 11 Seconds - meaning Alis fast footwork would be null and void cos AJ can run fast
Things like the above can make it quite easy for people to be turned off and want those that overhype him to be proved wrong - which in turn leads people to want AJ to lose, not for dislike of Joshua himself, but to prove his overexcited fanboys wrong.

I've said it before, give the boy time, he is still young, learning - he is exactly what the division needs minus the fanboys.
Exciting, powerful, marketable, young KO artist who has now shown he will go into war with anyone in the division who wants it, stop slagging off his movement and stop saying he is the best ever becasue he runs fast.

Give him time to develop further, he may become an ATG he may not - but at the moment Boxing is crying out for someone like AJ and as a result more people are interested in boxing = more money = bigger fights.

ok then, personally I find it more conjecture than fact what you are saying but don't really want to indulge in petulance.

    My take

It was the only fight for Klitchko , Fury is not available , Parker has done nothing to merit the fight and is clearly not ready for it would have been career suicide at this stage, Wilder not sure if he's got the balls or not biggest paper champ I've ever seen in over 9 years as a pro hasn't been in with a genuine contender surely could do more to get the big fights.

It's the only fight for Joshua it's the biggest available and it can't wait because if Klitchkos age , AJ needs the fight the propels him into superstardom Parker is nowhere near a big enough name and it can be a much bigger fight in the future again Parker isn't ready , Wilder doesn't sell to the casual in the UK he's just another Martin /Breazeale mouthy American and I don't think he has any intention of fighting AJ anytime soon , AJ beating Klitchko also makes AJ a much bigger star in America thus making a potential Wilder fighter a much more anticipated fight down the line.

Joshua is the heavyweight champion to watch right now. His opponents just get better and so does he, improving with every fight.

My only problem with Joshua is that he sometimes gets wobbled and dropped. If he never ever got wobbled or dropped like Mike Tyson was when he was coming up, then I'd say Joshua is the absolute best right now.

Well he definitely has a lot of vulnerabilities that could be exploited by certain fighters, but that's what makes him interesting. He wins in spite of his flaws. A destroyer like Tyson was awesome to watch, but in the main a fighter who's too dominant I find rather dull. You want some level of uncertainty in every fight, else why bother watching?

Joshua, incidentally, only started to become interesting to me after he was wobbled by Whyte. I like knowing that even the best have weaknesses.

Exactly, unless AJ plans on coming out the corner in the first round by sprinting at Ali and punching him out the ring then it doesnt matter at all how fast he can run.

Lol its petulance to have two accounts. You mention Parker and Wilder exactly like OpinionsOfaCasual and you find my debate with him so interesting that its easy to think you're OpinionsOfaCasual in hiding but that would be petulance.

Remember! me and OpinionsOfaCasual debate was about Joshua having the guts and OpinionsOfaCasual making it out like Wilder and Parker didn't. Then when OpinionsOfaCasual was proven WRONG, he then tried to change it to WHY Klitschko would take on the more lucrative Anthony Joshua (similar to what you're doing now).

Its conjecture what you're saying about Wilder and Parker in terms of Wilders courage and how Parker would do against Wlad. That is your subjective view. Its more like your speculating. The main points I mention is based on facts that can easily be sourced and have been discussed on this forum.

Yes that is a very good point. Its actually why I watch as well, not that I want to see AJ dropped as I am always rooting for him but its that doubtful chin that you always wonder about as you say. I know what you're saying, nice.

Him getting up and beating Wlad will inspire so many.

    Cheers!

BTW, I like that many of the Parker fans on here are also fans, or at least admirers, of Joshua as well, despite him being his potentially biggest rival down the line. Nice to see that level of respect applied across the line.

A very good summary of all that is right about Joshua, all that is wrong and the part in red is something I can really relate to. I don't wish for Joshua to lose, he's a great talent and an exciting fighter. But should he get knocked out that'll loosen the grip some have on his nuts, atm.

happy to debate with you but please cut the two account nonsense and let's keep this off of a personal level

I took the opinionsofacasual post to mean that Klitchko could have picked the soft option of Parker and Wilder but went with the greater challenge of AJ , I agree that I'd have made Klitchko strong favourite in either of those two fights and had him a slight underdog against Joshua.

As for Conjucture I'm not stating my opinion as fact ie the definition of Conjucture as you DID, it's my opinion that Wilder lacks courage maybe he doesn't I just think a guy who is 9 years in the pro game who is very active and has an Olympic medal and a world title yet continually fails to land big names maybe isn't doing everything he can to land them I have nothing solid to back that up with it's just my evaluation of the information I have processed ie opinion. it's also my opinion that Wlad would have destroyed Joe Parker on the 29th of April if that were the fight that occurred I don't know for certain what would have occurred but I feel Wlad would have dominated based on the fact that he has more experience more power better technical ability ring craft and proven track record and Parkers leveller knock out power doesn't seem to have carried above domestic level it is also my opinion that Hughie Fury represents a great threat to Parker and that his team or Parker himself had any intention of being Klitckos opponent not because they are cowards but because they know he's not ready and a heavy defeat could seriously hamper his prospects.

You're new to the forum so in future, it pays to state that its your opinion. I know the definition of conjecture and I clearly showed you a good example of your conjecture in regards to how you felt Parker would go against Wlad and your take on Wilders 'fear' of Wlad.

    My key facts are;
    • Wlad called out Joshua. Many know this. I think Wlad called out Joshua initially and continued to do so before Eddie Hearn finally got into contact with him. Joshua did not chase Klitschko like he was the only one who had the guts to as OPC alluded to. Exaggeration debunked.
    • Wlad believed he could beat AJ hence the 2016 call outs. Wlad often stated that he felt he could beat Joshua. Thats what Wlad said. Joshua is the more lucrative option and a fight that Wlad felt he could win.
Those are my facts that you said were conjecture lol. Was it my conjecture that Wlad called out Joshua and felt that he could beat Joshua? LOL. Thats clearly all I was saying.

I think you're too much of a fanboy with mentioning conjecture of Hughie Fury and so and so. I think even Joshua would find some of his fanboys on here over the top as Joshuas quite a down to earth guy. Its petulance like this that kills it for Joshua.

Several HW top 10s have better resumes, Wlad, Fury, and Potevetkin, thats just in the top 3. And Parker is right there too.

    Edit.

AJs win over Wlad is far and away the best single win, far better that the 12 rd waltz Fury did to earn a soft UD.

cool story bro !! I pulled you up because you stated that Wlad got in the ring and called out Joshua as a fact , didn't happen that was about it , you seem to be butt hurt now but it's no big deal.

Your trump card to the whole argument that you are trying to have with me seems to be that Wlad wanted the fight against AJ like you're saying something revolutionary , OF COURSE HE WANTED THE FIGHT , if he didn't he wouldn't have signed up for it he had no obligation to fight anyone and could of just retired or fought elsewhere common sense tells you he wanted it and most people have some of it you seem to want a special mention for using it. The thing is Joshua didn't have to fight Wlad either so until it was made anyone could have been calling out Wlad ,Parker (understandably imo!) didn't and neither did Wilder , Wilder should have been screaming for Wlad or AJ he wasn't.

Again I said in my opinion Hughie is a threat to Parker so actually not Conjucture at all, I get it it's tricky.
