Was inevitable really. He was being totally unrealistic saying he only needed about 10 weeks to shed all that weight. Honestly even September might be too much of a push to lose all that weight.

He is, but if/when AJ gets through the Wlad rematch, if Fury can get himself back in shape he could be about the only HW capable of giving Joshua a real test.

I predicted this. September will soon become December. This guy is finished he isn't fighting at a high level again.

To be fair, you're foolish to think anything is set in stone with Fury. His UKAD hearing is still ongoing and he doesn't have a licence. Anyone who thought he's definitely fighting in July is an idiot.

It was just in March that Fury was all over the place claiming that he'd be fighting this upcoming Saturday.

Remember the dozens of idiots here on the forum who said he should't be stripped last year because he will fight again VERY SOON!

He's taking his preparations for the comeback very seriously. Let's hope he doesn't overtrain.

I really hope he is worth the wait.

Even at 24 stone he could probably blow away a top 50 opponent (over 8 rounds - not ready for 12 yet.)

He's keen though at least, which is must better than the preceding 12/18 months. Just need UKAD to hurry up and sort out the drugs mess one way or another.

Looking forward to the comeback, but won't hold my breath either.

What's really sad is that morbidly obese Fury is still one of the fastest HWs.
