    I will just throw out some figures for comparison.

    Joshua has 1,100,000 followers on Twitter
    Canelo has 967,300 followers on Twitter

    Joshua has 3,300,000 followers on Instigram
    Canelo has 1,700,000 followers on Instrigram

    Joshua has 2,073,877 followers on Facebook
    Canelo has 2,503,356 followers on Facebook

    Joshua sold out a 90,000 stadium in only his 19th fight
    With over 1,500,000 PPV buys
    1,500,000 views in USA
    10,000,000 views in Germany
    Not sure of other figures but will be high.

    Not sure on Canelos max figures for a fight.

    Please add your own figures, and who you think is the bigger star, and who do you think will be the bigger star?

    1 million PPVs @ $74.99 > 1.5 million PPVs @ $24.99

    With that said, AJ is obviously more popular in Europe, and Canelo is more popular in the U.S. and third world Latin America.

    Anthony Joshua is more popular in Europe and Canelo is more popular in the USA and Latin America.

    I think worldwide is AJ more popular.

    Well I think Joshua is on his way and like some of the names of the past has that crossover appeal,nobody outside of boxing fans know who Canelo is,certainly in the U.K. At any rate.

    In Europe it is not even worth a discussion, nobody outside of the hardcore boxing fans knows who Canelo is.

    Anthony Joshua's star is going to continue to drastically rise. Canelo's starpower is going to diminish or at least plateu when he loses to Golovkin. At the moment Canelo is bigger in the U.S. Joshua is worldwide.

    I'd say it depends where you are in the world

    If you are asking in Latin America and America in general at this point it's likely to be Canelo

    But in uk and Europe it's clearly AJ

    Simply put though casuals are a big force & unless you asked in Latin America I think the answer would be AJ

    Although Tbh Canelo being a big name in the sport also has quite a casual following, I know a few bods who aren't heavily into boxing but will watch a Canelo fight

    On the same token, unless you ask a European, the answer would be Canelo.

    Canelo is more popular in the Western Hemesphere, AJ more popular in Europe.

    The poll is a joke. Canelo has sold waaaaay more ppvs than joshua and he's been in waaaaay more high profile fights. But it figures that he would lose this poll because of the GG overtones. Not surprised because if we went by facts lmao it isn't even close.
