Billy Joe Saunders vs. Avtandil Khurtsidze

I'd like for Kurtz to win, certainly for the division's progression. But I expect Saunders will jab and move to a (maybe controversial) decision.

If the best Saunders shows up he just has too much size/style advantages over Khurtsidze and wins a clear UD.

Should be great .Saunders should win on points if he is smart but I can see him getting into a war just to show how tough he is .Not the sharpest tool in the shed.

 

fighting in the UK, all Saunders has to do to get the win is see the final bell. i just doubt he will.

 

Admittedly if Saunders is firing on all cylinders he should probably be favoured.

But if there's one guy who can score the upset in style, it's AK.

Saunders can win this if he's 100% focused and in shape, cardio wise. I don't see BJS knocking out AK; so he'll need to outbox AK for 12 rounds to get the win. Saunders has enough boxing skills and speed to pull it off but I don't have confidence in Saunder's cardio, he tends to gas after 6 rounds which is a no-no for someone like Khurtsidze.

 

^ This is what I'm talking about. Saunders could look great for 10 rounds but if he slows and gasses, Khurtsidze will hammer him into the floor. BJS would have to come in tiptop shape for this one.
