I'm calling it. Wlad wins a less exciting fight and we get a Trilogy.

I think the last fight took more out of Wlad, and with his age I see Joshua knocking him out a bit earlier.

The problem for wlad here is that when Joshua opens up he gets hurt. AJ will go in there knowing he can get the knock out, he has done it, it's no longer a mystery. The mental aspect of that can't be underrated, I think he could end it sooner. I wouldn't write wlad of completely but it's a hell of a long shot, coming in even older against an even more confident Joshua. The first fight was hard, there every reason to believe this would be harder for wlad.

I think AJ is too aggressive for that, he is likely to open up at some point and land something, unless wlad seriously hurts him, but AJ has already shown he can take some big punches and survive.

I am leaning towards Joshua but only slightly

Wlads skill is not as deteriorated something to think; look at how he performed on the first flight; he won most of the rounds and dropped Joshua with one shot

and this time, he knows to step it up once he has Joshua hurt

I lean towards Joshua to win, but not by much I can easily see Vlad taking Joshua out, there by setting up a mega third fight

Not much pressure on Wlad to win this. We know he can knock down Joshua with one shot and light him up.

I think most people will go with Joshua and rightfully so, let's be honest Wlad is well past his best days. And at 41 he's not going to get any better. Unless you feel Ring rust played a part in his loss I don't see what else at this stage he can do. Yes he remains in fantastic shape but His jab is not the same, he doesn't throw the right hand with any frequency and his left hook now is totally telegraphed and launched from 3 states away.
Despite the loss I do believe he will be very confident, he knows he can hurt Joshua and he wasn't far off from winning this fight but I think it's a bridge too far now.
I hope he retires. However it was a great fight, one the sport and the division needed and it's the biggest fight in the division you can still make. So I won't be too upset if it does happen. If it's half as good as the first fight it's still a quality fight in the division.

wlad is.my favorite fighter around and I grew up watching him but I agree. the way he stormed out in the 5th showed me he could pretty much do that whenever he wants

all wlad really did was try to back out of range and he let his left come low. Joshua had little in return when he attacked

wlad also doesn't seem to have the same power

JOSHUA WAS OUTBOXING HIM for 5 rounds

Joshua landed his power first and only lost out in bieng unable to finish the job...

gassed out and almost payed the worst price but still finished strong and got a second wind from round 9 onwards.

No way Wlad makes 12 rounds in the rematch.

AJ was able to fight more static not having to use his feet to expend energy unlike Wlad. Wlad totally FRIGGIN USELESS. Jab, right hand and leaping left hook. CANT GRAB. Because AJ IS TOO STRONG.

WLAD IS A USELESS ROBOT with pretty good footwork but what use is it when you don't have any punch variations? NO BODYWORK. NO UPPERCUTS

    AJ BEATS HIM UP AGAIN

    FURY IS KING

100% in the rematch AJ lands a quick 1,2 in quick brutal fashion to KO Wladamir within 6 rounds.

I'm not even sure Wlad can even make it through another camp without having persistant injurys at this stage.

AJ just needs to cut muscle mass if possible and cut out the HGH.

Why leave Banks? I thought he had the perfect game plan TBH. He came in light and was quicker on his feet. It's the best Wlad has looked in a LONG time. Maybe age caught up to him in the 11th and he was complacent at the start.

Wlad really won 3 rounds, 4 counting round 5 which I believe he did the most damage and his best round of the fight. Ya he went down but dominated 2 mins +, even better than round 6.

5,6,7 and could gift him 4 or 8, rounds he lost but kept close enough

If Wlad manages to come in at least same shape as he came in for first fight and make some adjustments to his game plan he has a good chance. 45/55 fight in my book -Joshua being the favorite. Wouldn't be surprised if Wlad catches Joshua and finishes him in mid rounds. Could go either way but Joshua is much younger and that is big factor in this fight.

Any fight amongst the top heavyweights is better than this fight.
