    Why would I switch? This will look like a poor man's version of Mayweather-Pacquiao, with Walsh in the Mayweather role. He has excellent upper body and head movement, slips punches very well, is an impressive counter puncher, deceptively heavy handed, and has the size advantage on Davis. And they're in the UK, if this is anywhere close to close Walsh will get the nod, and if Walsh boxes responsibly and doesn't take any bonehead risks like Pedraza who fought totally out of character, he could force a stoppage, the one round where Jose poured it on Davis he started buckling under the pressure. This match is the epitome of 50/50.

    Walsh is the far better boxer of the two, if anyone gets outclassed here it'll be Gervonta. He's not the best boxer, he's aggressive and throws a lot of punches and is easy to hit, that's about all he has to offer.

    Look how pedestrian Davis looks at times against Avila, he gets outboxed at times by a very subpar boxer.

    Yet look at the level Walsh is operating on against Klimov who is levels above Avila.

    Davis' best win is over a guy who said before the match he couldn't make 130 anymore and was on his way up to 135, but took the match to cash in. Walsh is very comfortable at 130. Also Walsh is a switch hitter, how will Davis deal with that wrinkle?
