GGG goes the distance for the first time in 9 years, and now people think everyone goes the distance with him, silly rabbits, or should I say sheep. Brother Naazim should know better.

This ^ That said, Canelo will look good in the early going, but over the stretch Golovkin's pressure and size will get him outta there.

Which is why he drains all of his opponents and always needs a weight advantage. Gangster. Got it.

That's your storyline, and you are obviously entitled to view and believe what you want.

Facts are that Canelo and GBP were having legal issues that were going to cost them millions of dollars. They were in and out of court and couldn't sign for another fight while the legal issues were ongoing. Why? Because it was an issue regarding Canelo's previous promoter who was suing Canelo and GBP for breach of contract.

The WBC demanded negotiations take place immediately. Canelo felt that the belt wasn't worth the distraction or extra money he would have to settle with is previous promoter, so he dumped the belt, proceeded to settle in court, and continued with his career. 1.5 years later, the fight is signed, despite YOU and all the other trolls and Golokin freaks claiming Canelo would NEVER sign to fight GGG, especially not in 2017. You were wrong.

Now you're here posting like a little whiny betch, crying about the fight being made. You cry about the fight not being made, you cry about the fight being made, you cry about the 10 mil offer, you cry about the 15 mil offer, you're nothing more than and uninformed troll, who is obsessed with one fighter, and clearly has NO LIFE outside this forum.

Hes got to stay close to GGG and exchange at the right range. If he stays on the outside GGG's jab and better length will bust him up from the start. imo he has no choice but to try the macho way Canelo. 3/4 year ago GGG wouldn't have to use his head/thinking as much and conserving a bit, now hes on the slide slightly it makes it closer, but I still got GGG. The only plus Canelo has on his side is youth

Who are all these guys he has a weight advantage over? Fighting other rated JMWs in non title fights 1 whole lb over 154 is an advantage? Even the Chavez fight a 154 fighter fights a 168 fighter at 164, it's two divisions separating them why wouldn't there be give on both sides.

Every time this question is asked no-one can give a reasonable answer, who are all these guys Canelo is taking advantage of?

So you don't think Canelo rehydrates massively over his opponents on fight night?

I believe that Canelo had to face GGG as a mandatory for the WBC belt and gave up the belt instead of defending it.

Yet ... yet they managed to fight Cotto, Khan and Liam Smith in the same general time span :sisi1

Translation: Canelo decided that the belt wasn't worth getting his face lumped up and embarrassed in front of everybody, and losing his special aura.

I always said that Canelo would fight GGG once he started looking old :deal: Even GGG knows it:

“If I look good, he’s not ready,” Golovkin said of Canelo to the latimes.com. “If I look terrible, he’s ready. This is his strategy, Golden Boy strategy.”

    Are you on drugs?

    :periodico:

Au contraire, I am an informed troll :deal:

Would you like to apply some strong suction to a cylindrical object?

I hear Oscar is holding auditions :naughty::naughty2:

What do you mean "especially in 2017"? A lot of people were saying back then that Canelo would wait for Golovkin to age and 35 was was a regularly given number to signify when that was. There are plenty of articles stating that Canelo would wait til Golovkin was 35+ to sign the fight.

Here's one from this very site.

Like who? Khan yeah I agree but Chavez no, Smith no, Kirkland no, Angulo no, Lara no, Trout no, Cotto not really(Cotto been coming in 160+ since his 147 days and win title's at JMW & MW before Alvarez), Mayweather again not really (Floyd is a 3 time JMW Champ and for unified JMW Champ)

Out of his last 9 fights only 2 can be legitimately considered smaller Khan and Mayweather and again Mayweather 3 time champ at the weight. So what am I missing

First of all, the idea of Canelo fighting GGG came about after the Cotto fight in Nov 2015. Not even 6 months after that fight in 2016, GBP had already stated that Sept. 2017 was the date they were looking at for the fight.

I'm not sure how close you follow boxing, but I've been knowing that this fight would happen in Sept. 2017.
