For Trout he went from 153.5 to 172.

For Angulo he initially couldn't make 154, paid Angulo $100,000, and then went from 155 to 174.

For Lara he went from 155 to 171 on fight night. Lara was 166.

For Kirkland he went from 154.5 to nobody knows, because after Lara he refused to be weighed on fight night. Guess why.

For Cotto he went from 155 to what Roach estimated to be 185. Cotto weighed in at 153.5, so did not even make the official weight at weigh in.

Khan was 158 on fight night, and he estimated Canelo was 187. Kellerman estimated 180.

For Smith, we don't know his fight night weight of course because he hides it from the public, but Kellerman and Roy Jones were saying Canelo looked like a light heavyweight in the ring.

Of course he drained Chavez to a corpse and came into the fight at likely his heaviest weight ever, since the fight was well above any previous Canelo catchweight.

Canelo has not allowed himself to be weighed on fight night since Lara. exactly because he is hiding his weight advantages over everyone.

Canelo himself has said he can come in at 180 or even 190 and it's nobody's business but his.

All of these guys except Smith he also drained or dragged up in weight. which of course you don't deny. His hiding his massive fight night weights you also can't deny. As usual with apologists like you, you won't admit something obvious that even your hero freely acknowledges. That's pretty sad, even for a Canelo fanboy.

I'd favour G but I think people are REALLY underestimating Canelo. He might not be the biggest puncher but He's a great counter puncher and that big old jaw and knecks gonna take alot to be dropped. The kid is built to fight. It won't be as 1 sided as many think.

    Lol...

Canelo is more popular today, and a more credible MW than in 2016.

Don't you want to see Golovkin fighting the best version of Canelo?

Unless you believe Golovkin's popularity has sunken significantly, this will be bigger now than last year.

Fighters who refuse to step on the scales for fight night weigh ins generally do so because they don't have anything to hide.

C.J., will Oscar be wearing his fishnet onesie when he jumps into the ring (i assume by vaulting over the top rope, luche libre-style), or just in street clothes?)

if GGG gets his ass kicked in this fight, your scenario seems the most plausible explanation

Absolutely nothing wrong or unethical about that.

Why should you give your opponent (who more than likely ALSO dehydrated himself) the heads up about your weight?

Mayweather didn't do it, Cotto didn't either, and Canelo doesn't either. Who GAF? I swear some of you Golovers are whiny little poosies. Crying and bitching about everything Canelo does.. Loo

The fight is happening! The boxing world is ready and excited for this fight, and you guys are still crying about Canelo?

Dude there is no record what so ever that Canelo has ever entered the ring weighting 180 or more, that right there is just fan boy hyperbole you talk excuses in a NON TITLE FIGHT 1lb is common and not against any rules looking at his fights since let's say the last since Trout.

Both Trout and Alvarez weighed in at 170 & 171 officially,
Mayweather and Alvarez was 150 to 167 now while Mayweather is smaller he is also a 3 time and former unified JMW Champ and was reigning champ in the division at the time can't say he's too small.
Vs Angulo Canelo was 174 to 171 that's not an advantage and in non title fights 1lb is not against any rules.
You say yourself Lara was 167 to 171 that's not massively outweighing anyone like you claim.
Kirkland and Canelo were both confirmed to be in the mid to low 170s during there fight.
Cotto and Canelo has no fight night weight but Cotto was the defending Champ has been fighting at 154 and 160 before Alvarez and won title's at both weights before Alvarez. Cotto has been entering the ring in the mid/high 160s since he was at 147 .
Khan you can legitimately claim was smaller a 147 fighter moving up 1 division while not unheard of is still an actual instance of making a fighter move up.
Smith and Alvarez are both on record being 170÷ on fight night still no massive advantage I've seen but Khan.
Chavez has fought as high as LHW there are 3 division between 154 and 168 yet your arguing it's unfair for the guy 3 divisions bigger to come down? If anything that is more biased than my opinion.
You can't drag up a guy at your weight 1lb, and you can't drain a guy your moving 3 divisions to fight. No offense but you have to be a special kind of stupid to believe that. Me personally I have no problem being unbiased or being critical when needed.
But a JMW fighting a JMW at 155 isn't dragging anybody up which he why he kept his 154 ranking.

    Good post!

That clown is a hater. Ever since Canelo said "Golovkin, where are you? You are next my friend", The Golovers are all over the place, frombpreparing excuses, to crying every time Canelo farts.

What gangsterism? And I'd say Jacobs 'faired' very well, many people had him winning the fight including unbiased sky sports. GGGs win was a controversial one.
