Who was the hardest hitter in Wlad's career

Corrie Sanders was in the best shape of his entire career when he fought Vlad.......................he was preparing to fight Valouev in South Africa, Vlad did not train much for the fight, did not bother to spar, much less with a south paw, Corrie was 6 feet 5 inches tall with extremely long arms, fast, punched extremely hard with speed...........his punches came at you backwards................he would have won the gold medal in the Olympics if he had been allowed to fight, but South Africa was boycotted..................it's a shame................he could have been dominate. Lennox Lewis said that he always avoided Corrie because he knew.........

 

Probably Sanders, Haye and then AJ. AJ's one punch power is good but not amazing. It was a peach of an uppercut he landed on Wlad and had everything in it - but Wlad managed to stay on his feet from it.

 

When Sanders was in full cry he used to launch his whole body into his punches. Strictly speaking it's bad technique (and he did lose his balance often as a result) but man o man, when he landed ...

 

One of those sneaky hard lefts would've been beautiful crashing on Wilders chin.

If only he was still alive, we'd probably get to see it for real!

Sanders for delivery, Haye p4p, Joshua overall... Povetkin & Peter are heavy hitters too. Liked to have seen him fight Maskaev.. Powerful guy!

 

He's also been in with Tyson, Foreman, Liston, Shavers, Bonecrusher Smith and Cleveland Williams.

 

The casuals will say Sanders. The real answer is Brewster.

The guy had underrated power. Stopped Golota worse than Mike Tyson. Knocked out durable Martin quicker than both Wlad and George Foreman.

Wlad was fine after the Sander loss.

He had taken away to hospital after Brewster dealt with him.

 

Understandable. He felt nothing when Lewis turned his lights completely out.

 

It was a great shot, but if you watch the slo-mo of it, he didn't put everything behind it and it didn't land as perfectly as it could of. Joshua was falling backwards slightly when he threw the uppercut, he didn't have his feet properly planted as Wlad's body was forcing him back. Also when the punch connects Wlad is already moving his head upwards away from the uppercut so he took some power off it by doing so.

Had Joshua actually put everything behind it, with his feet planted and caught Wlad truly flush then I'm sure he would of at least dropped him.

The hardest punch thrown in that fight wasn't Joshua's uppercut it was Wlad's right hand that dropped Joshua. Only reason Joshua got up from that was because his chin was tucked and his feet were firmly planted when he got hit.

 

Just stop.. It was a picture perfect uppercut. As good as anybody could ever deliver.

When Tyson used bob n weave to the left , his body weight was fully behind the left hook. When he bobbed over to the left , all his weigh transitioned over to his right hook to the body.

Joshua threw a left hook , then dipped over to the side and came up with a perfectly formed uppercut thrown with maximum torque and leverage. His body placement was in perfect position which why it was so fast.
Wlads head nearly came clean off his shoulders ffs.

 

That was a factor of Brewster's chin more than anything he'd actually hit him with.

Probably Sam Peter, his problem was though, he was slow as a snail, and punched like a primitive caveman.

 

He faced a lot of heavy handed guys with high ko ratios and fearsome power. Just need to check their records when they faced WK. Often they lost their 0.

 

I sort of agree here. Sam Peter clearly had freakish power, but he was so, so crude.
