    True.
He has an excuse for every loss, which I guess is not unusual.
Did always seem like quite a rude and classless individual though.

Duran might be rude but to call him classless is slanderous.

You tell me another fighter with the heart and class to visit and emotionally embrace an ex rival dying of AIDS back when people were absolutely terrified of AIDS?

Duran could beat him on the outside and definitely on the inside. Mid range would be a terrible idea.

GGG's accomplishments sound great when you put them like that. What you leave out is the fact that aside from Lemieux and Jacobs, GGG has fought all bums.

The fact that Golovkin is hittable and somewhat of a stationary target gives Duran a chance. I don't really know how this one would play out. I do know that Triple G wouldn't drop his hands and let Duran hit him after he tastes that right hand. I still wanna see more of Triple G. The next fight should tell us a lot.

Comparing fighter A, fighter B and Fighter C never works

Kell Brook showed what a fighter with a bit of head movement and
counter punch skills could make Golovkin look vulnerable. Duran
is a class above KB and Duran does what KB couldn't do for 12 rds.
Duran in great battle wins on pts.

Lol, Duran quit because he was frustrated by Leonard's movement? Wrong, Sugar Ray started to land hard, and Duran had enough. Watch the films. If he was angry with Leonard he's in the perfect spot to retaliate with punches.

Duran was destroyed by Hearns because Hearns could punch. It was a one punch KO and Duran was out in less than 2 rounds. So Duran is on a very short list of fighters who quit and were KO'd early by one punch. Sorry, it's true and not made up.

Duran above 150 pounds wasn't great. Two quick examples:

Kirkland Laing, a 23-3-1 fighter with little power beat him!. Duran was 31 years old.

Robbie Sims, a 24-6-1 fighter beat Duran when he was close to the same age GGG is now.

Can you imagine either of these two beating GGG? No way!

At 5'7" tall with a very short 66" reach, how in the world is Duran who liked to be aggressive going to outbox GGG? GGG won't be intimidated in the slightest and would welcome the exchanges.

Brook was a good counter puncher. We all saw what GGG did to him.

Okay, then. Look at the styles here if you must. We have a blown up lightweight, facing a big middleweight who won't have to find him. They both like the action.

Who hits harder here? Golovkin by a country mile?
Who takes a better punch? Golovkin
Who is undefeated a middle weight, and who is hit or miss?

I doubt Duran would intimidate Golovkin and once triple GGG starts landing those body shots, which Duran did not like, he's either going to no mas, or eventually become TKO'd

Duran sometimes lost to guys that he couldnt get motivated for thats just how Durans psyche worked.
Look at Durans body in the first fight with Leonard then the second. They look completely different because he spent the entire second camp losing weight instead of training for a fight.
