Terrence Crawford is the best pfp fighter in the world today and here's why.

bud would have taken care of salido no prob....loma looks better than he really is against smaller, limited fighters.

 

All depends on if Crawford can carry power up to 147. He has decent power at 140 but not great. More often than not power is lost moving up, but there are exceptions. He'll need good power to keep the elite WWs off him.

 

LOL If Lomachenko is beating smaller limited fighters then what do you describe Crawfords opposition?

 

A limited Euro Postol is his best win yet.

I don't rate a blown up Gamboa who is washed up, or overachiever Burns.

Sorry, I just don't see it when I watch him fight. Lomachenko, on the other hand, is something I've never seen before - astonishing.

 

Until Crawford actually fights some good opponents then we have no idea how good he really is. Currently his resume is littered with bums and old men past their primes.

Sure he has the potential to be great, just like any young fighter, but it is another thing realising it .

 

I rate Lomaxhenkos 7th fight vs Walters higher than anything Bud has done

 

This would be #1 fight to be made in boxing right now, in my opinion. I would be even more hyped than for Canelo vs. GGG. Crawford has a size advantage, but other than that I have no idea whom to favor .

 

I still have him below Loma to be honest but I'm really enjoying Crawford's career. Diaz isn't a defining win at all but it's another pretty decent win to add to his resume. I don't add extra to that win because of his Olympic gold though - let's remember Audley Harrison has one of those!

It's difficult for Bud, he isn't going to be recognised universally as truly elite until he can take out a Thurman or someone at 147. That'll be a real tough ask to be honest. Either way, he's fun, technicaly superb and dominating everyone he can.

 

He was a joy to watch the way he controlled the fight. Simmilar to Loma vs Walters. It was all him. To do that to an Olympic gold medalist, no matter how limited you might think he is, with such ease, is special. Everything that went down was 100% on buds terms. I love his confidence and his mean streak mixed with that cold calculating calm he has too.

Made Diaz look so ordinary and out of ideas.

Crawford will make light work of Indongo.
I unfortunately being a scot was at the Burns v Indongo fight and whilst i admit i struggled to give a round to Burns, i dont think it is down to Indongo being fantastic, Burns is shot and Indongo exposed that.
Indongo is awkward and did look good but i dont think he is anywhere near Crawfords level.
Cant wait for Crawfords next fight, he looked superb last night, toyed with Diaz.

 

LOL look at the quality of the said lineal champions.

His best 3 wins are Postol, Gamboa and RICKY BURNS...... Gamboa was undersized from the get go and Postol whilst a very good scalp is nothing that make legends and Burns....well let's just leave that one there.

Lomo despite the loss to Salido has done more, quicker and against better opposition in a quaternary of the time.

People hate on GGG'S opposition but it's arguably better than Crawfords.

 

Better opposition? Who? Only guy I truly rate is GRj, who can easily be discredited but I rate him high so I won't. Walters feasted on career flyweights, and could not even put a dent into sosa who was hurt badly by Fortuna at 130. Not to mention the 13 month lay off. I still rate a smaller undefeated 135 Gamboa above GRJ. Postol > Walters, Sosa, etc EASY. I rate GRJ above Postol, but you could easily rate the Postol win above GRJ. And I also rate Diaz over Sosa/Walters though just like Postol/GRJ, it's a very debatable subject. If you include the clear robbery Diaz was dealt, Peterson/Vasquez is an extremely solid resume. Better than anything Walters did at 130/135(I know he never went to 135), or Sosa whose best win was Fortuna.

The amount of time Loma is doing it is irrelevant for p4p rankings to me. I know people have different definitions of p4p, but to me right now in 2017 it means who would match up the best if they fought at the same weight class. Now this is obviously hard to do since bigger fighters fight in much different styles. That being said I have
1. Crawford/Loma-Pick em
2. Kovalev/Ward-Whoever wins the rematch.
3. GGG/Canelo winner.

Crawford/Loma can easily be ranked below these winners if your p4p rankings are heavily resume based.
