His critics can't go that far...so now it's, "I didn't think that much of Diaz". "Even Shiming and Harrison won Gold".

I guess you require a more defined range so I'll say two years. I can add Jorge Linares as a personal choice as well if that's ok with you boss man.

Actually Crawford is not that great an inside fighter, if so he would finish his opponents off even earlier in the fight rather than playing, pawing the jab, trying to get his opponent to open up (when they are hurt and defensive) while he looks to counter. In comparison, when Floyd got an opponent hurt who started to fight defensive, Floyd goes in with his shoulder, pushes them back and unleashes inside combos. Crawford doesn't do that, he stays at range the entire fight.

Bud's solution is to taunt and clown rather than use a different fight tactic or strategy

You truly believe Crawford is incapable of performing at a high level when fighting inside? I don't always agree with buds taunting but I think your over simplifying why he does it and its overall purpose. Crawford thrives off his ability to show he's tougher and meaner than any version his opponent can conjure. The man is slightly sadistic and will tango on this inside blow for blow as demonstrated in his fights versus Gamboa, Beltran, Dulorme, Lundy etc etc....

Crawford does not initiate inside fighting unless it's a clinch or if the guy is leaning in and he can get off an uppercut. Watch his fights and you'll notice he stays at arms length and does not like opponents on the inside. There are many times when his opponents are ready to go but he carries them or don't finish them off because he won't fight on the inside. Once again I used Floyd as a comparison, Floyd will absolutely go in on a fatigued and hurt opponent. See the Hatton, Cotto, Gatti, Judah fights

Hmmm? Again he has when he choses to, Bud dictates the story of the fight and he can also beat you at your own game.....not sure what your point is when stating he does not initiate inside fighting.....are you saying its because he "can't" or just chooses not to.

You haven't seen enough of Crawford to say that he doesn't fight inside enough. And fighting inside doesn't guarantee that he stops anyone.

I've seen every Crawford fight since Prescott and imo Crawford is not an inside fighter! Whether he can or can't is another story! But I do know he could of got Diaz out of there had he went in on him rather than taunt and play on the outside!

It's another story to you. And he did get him out of there.

Ahhh, do you find his taunting unproductive? Do you spite him for it?

I believe Bud did mention one of his goals was to beat a gold medalist utilizing the gold medalists preferred stance....its part of Bud's self determination and overall attitude to push himself.

Some guys taunt and frustrate the opposition with no sense of purpose and in all honesty I've always been indifferent to it.... (others might have an agenda) Roy Jones Jr did it, Joe Calz, Loma, Crawford, Floyd.....

He is overdoing it with the short opponents. Granted Postol was tall but the real challenges are at 147 where I believe Crawford will have to perfect his inside game. In contrast I think Loma has a great inside game...I'm not hating on Crawford but there is no way he can beat a Spence or Thurman without being willing to mix it up on the inside.

I find Crawford pulls straight back sometimes and gets smacked for it. If he does that vs someone like Pac, could be over. But I really like Crawford, one of the best today out there and such mean fighter in the ring, makes it fun to watch. He beats guys up like they literally stole something from him.

He is definitely a good fighter, but has some work to do if he wants to be top 5 pfp.

He is bullying fighters that he is much bigger than. Let's see what happens when he moves up to 147. I guarantee you he will not look quite as impressive.

His resume is also quite lacking.
