Crawford doesn't need to move up 1 lb, not at all. He has so much left to do at 140.

I think people like Crawford and legitimately think he would take over 147 in a great fight against Keith Thurman.

I would say fight Indongo and then Pac at 140 for all the belts, and then move up to 147. Maybe he can also take on the winner of Mikey Garcia vs Adrian Broner at 140 but those other guys you listed don't bring anything to the table.

 

I don't think Crawford wants to keep fighting opponents like Felix Diaz.

 

There are no big fights for him there. He wants to get paid and get his name out there. 147 provides that, 140 doesn't.

I like Crawford more than most people at 147. Money is the number one factor when it comes to why fighters move weight classes and that's where the money is. Crawford is good enough to beat anyone at 147 in my opinion.

 

No one ever has to move up unless they can't make that weight anymore. As long as Crawford can make 140 stay at 140. It's just that the bigger fights are at 147. You can't tell me that you're more interested in Crawford vs Indongo than Crawford vs ANY of the top guys at 147.
