Yeah and funny how in 2017 after so many decent fights guys like Wilder are desperate for that same respect that AJs getting, that one fight with Wlad with all the risk it entailed trumps Wilder whole resume and still his next opponent is Stiverne

forgot about Antonio Margarito--he's separated by a complete level from even the second-worst boxer mentioned on this thread, in my view.

(and he's now back in the ring!)

    -kovalev (overall low-class scum)
    -canelo (coward)
-povetkin (the kind of ghetto dirtbag who degrades himself while dragging the sport of boxing down with him)

It's true though isn't it? Fury beat Wlad in his own yard. Easily. That was despite Wlad postponing it originally with his own injury.

So he wasn't ducking him in the rematch. I think he genuinely couldn't be bothered, his head was gone.

    For me

Amir Khan - Makes a mockery out of boxing and is a coward
Broner - This guy has more lives than a cat - Should be in jail
Andre Ward - The lying and hypocrisy plus I believe he is a murderer
Joshua - I respect that he is trying to be a positive role model but I can't abide by the fact that this man is pretending to be clean when it obvious that he is roided out of his mind
Billy Joe Saunders - This man is a gobshite, who is a hypocrite and a bigot. Spends more time talking than fighting

Tyson Fury -- Attacks hard working boxers, claims they're "boring", yet he is the laziest and most boring fighter in the HW division.

Was Fury actually physically injured? Or was he just so consumed by the pressure of his own success that he crumbled mentally and utterly failed to get back into any sort of shape? I'm genuinely asking here, because I don't recall him citing any injuries at the time.
And as far as I know, Haye's injuries were genuine. An accidental elbow from Hrgovic gave him with a nasty cut in sparring one week before the first fight and a career threatening shoulder injury left him needing reconstructive surgery the second time around.

Anyway, what difference does it matter that Fury had already beaten Wlad once? Both Haye/Fury and Fury/Wlad 2 were contractually obliged to happen. So whether Fury was injured or not he was still being a hypocrite by doing what he did. Slagging off Haye on numerous broadcasts and interviews for stringing him along and wasting six months of his career and then leaving Wlad inactive for nearly two years with no form of apology is a d*ck move.
