Brook vs Spence. Official pick em

Brook is the first puncher Spence has faced and imo is the hardest puncher at 147.

I think it's a good fight, both are aggressive, both will have their moments, both will gain respect.

I like kell's better timing and this will shine through.

Brook with his timing and accuracy will be to cute for spence I see a points win with spence coming on strong late in the fight. This is why brook needs to make sure first rounds he gets spence discouraged quick.

I look at 50/50 fights like this...
When plan A isn't working and you open up Your box of skills who has the more tools in the box ? And right now brook has to many tools in his box to change a tide of a fight, compared to spence. Skill and all round ability (if brook is ok at the weight) you have to go with brook

 

Spence stoppage. When he gets going he hits with 3,s and 4,s. Albeit brook will make that a lot harder than anyone hes faced or probably likely to face. But can see him getting them off at some point. He kind of depletes you quick from what i ve seen of him. The opponents can last 6/7 rounds etc but because of them shellacking from early...they usually become ineffective offensively early. Kells not algieri etc...but hes not superman either. Think kell will start well tho before fading. Wont get a better chance...at home with 40,000 fans...against a spence untested against the elite of the division. Still see spence getting to him.

Kell only needs to win 7 rounds and his defence skills are much greater level so you have to factor that into the plan. I can tell you by experience when your buzzed it's natural instinct and have clear thought to know what do do when hurt. Kelli knows how to react we don't know what spence will do. Look at fighters like Khan he is clueless when he gets tagged he wants to go to war lol

 

Although Spence is a 2 -1 favorite, I have a gut feeling that Brook will win this fight..............

 

Just re watched the Brook/porter highlights, I think the nerves and big stage got to him slightly but boy did he land some great stuff on porter!

I know spence is a completely different style to porter and his reach will be difficult for Brook to work against I think

 

Brook inside 8 rounds. Think his accuracy and shot selection will be too much for Spence.

 

Cant wait for this. I think Kell will have too much for him. He looks in amazing shape and Spence hasnt been at this level before. Brook it top 10 p4p for me and will prove it this fight.

 

Brook UD and I think he drops / rocks Spence at some stage.

 

Home crowd will help Kell and I think he'll fly out the traps into an early lead. I've seen very little of Spence tbh but as others on here have eluded to he's got to worry about a Yorkshireman with previous for jumping in early reffing a fellow Yorkshireman.

 

I fancy Brook to win either buvstoppage between 9-12 or on points after a very hard fight. I truly believe these two are the best in the division. At this stage of his careee I think both would beat PAC and would more often than not beat Thurman. Not often we seen two real genuine high world class fighters who are both genuinely fully fledged in their respective divisions fight of in both their primes, we do here.
