Ahh it's always ''sparring is sparring'' when it's your hero getting completely annihilated yet when it was found that Joshua bullied Fury in sparing, everyone was on board ready to believe it mattered and still to this day many reacount that session as evidence that Joshua would beat fury should they fight.

But now it's 'sparring is sparring''

They should get Dubois and Wilder in the sparring ring to determine the real undisputed sparring champion.

You put Dobois and Wilder in a fight today and wilder would end up looking like your avatar.

its just sparring.. a lot of fighters don't take it as serious and are working on things so probably open to being caught.. dubious is talented sure looks like a future world champion to be honest . but put him in a pro fight tomorrow vs Joshua and he doesn't win...

He isn't behind the sofa: he's currently at the kitchen sink, fixing someone's taps.

Of course it means something, it shows that Dubois possess the ability to seriously hurt Joshua and at 19 years of age has frightening potential to surpass Joshua.

Dubois had his way with Joshua and made him his slave during the session, slapped him around the ring as if he was nothing more than a dog, before knocking him out cold in the process.

Fury was able to predict big things for Joshua based on the sparring session he had where he more or less admitted Joshua bullied him. I did not see anyone at the time say ''it's just sparring'' and Fury didn't even get knocked out.

    "Sparring is sparring"

A phrase originally started by real boxers but made popular by people who never put on gloves in their lives but watched one Errol Spence interview then made it their catch phrase.

I usually say sparring doesnt mean anything... but... not liking all these stories coming out (seemingly) of AJ getting dropped in sparring. One, its not a good sign, regardless, and two, he shouldnt be taking that much punishment in his camps, and what happens in sparring can actually ruin a fighters mentality and durability.

That being said.... what happens under the big lights is what matters most, and Ive seen him hit with huge shots from wlad and not go down, hit with a huge HUGE shot from wlad, go down and get back up and survive, seen him take big shots from Whyte and not go down, ect. So I do think the stories dont mean all that much, but... still...
