If Danny can catch Porter with a left hook coming in he can. Porter doesn't have Thurman's hand speed or jab to keep Danny from throwing. Both Danny and Porter have great chins so I think Danny gets a decision unless Porter develops a jab, which doesn't seem likely.
Hope this fight gets made because DSG will probably open as a betting favourite. Although Garcia has the Matthysse victory as an indicator he could handle a fighter like Porter, I would favour Porter to outwork Danny and bully his way to a decision win. So many great fights possible at 147 and the way this year has panned out so far I'm optimistic we get them. Hopefully Crawford moves up next year too and The Bobfather makes the Pacquiao fight.
