fair score imo, Allen simply outboxed Thomas, you can't just win rounds rushing in face first and eating shots.

if Thomas could get a full training camp and take the sport seriously... he could be a legit top 20 maybe top 15 guy. that hand speed is impressive .just needs to work on stamina

 

I had it by one for Allen, but the cleaner work was easily Thomas, also he made Allen miss at times. But i'd be happy either way. Allen took the defeat well, acted like a gent and lifted up Lenroy Thomas, very sportsmanlike.
I don't want to see a rematch, Allen still has much to learn to even get past British level, he's just simply too "basic" plod plod right hand, plod plod right hand, at least Lenroy threw a few combinations and mixed up the punches.

 

Allen has no snap on his punches, absolutely none. bad athlete, but i do like him.

 

Totally agree, I enjoyed watching him. Terrific handspeed. For such a tank of a guy, he is fast and moves well. I want to see him back over here.

 

Promising scores from the judges tbh, hopefully Spence gets a fair shake

 

Allen got robbed there, Thomas with better quality work but far too little of it to be close to winning that fight

 

What a gent that Allan/Allen is, very humble and really gained alot in defeat. He just needs to work on a few things, move the head, go to the body, shorten the punches, use the jab on the way in and move those feet quicker.

 

I fancy my chances against Dave Allen, haha. What a cold bum. Jokes aside, he needs to leave boxing alone and try MMA. His hands and feet are too terrible to be a decent boxer but with his natural strength, he could be a take down machine.

 

I just hope allen doesn't get depressed as **** again, The guy is emotional unstable, puts on a brave face say's the right things, but something is off with him mentally.

 

Nice bloke is Allen, but he's bang average at boxing. Thomas isn't much better. It was an awful fight.

 

No chance. Not even close to a "robbery" it could have gone either way. LT definitely out landed DA.

 

A lot of people on here fancy Brook for a convincing win. But my god I am worried! Come on Brook!!
