A 38 year old Pacquiao can still beat these two.

spence impressed me. he was overwhelmed by brook's size and strength at the start (he looked like a skinny teenager compared to brook) but beat the fight out of him.

he broke his other eye, but I wonder when one eye is damaged the body causes the other one to weaken as well.

Credit to Spence here, the eye didn't go on its own, it went because Spence landed the punches on his eye.

What a warrior Brook is. Move him up now.

    Hearn always gets booed lol.

I feel somewhat cheated, Brook showed some good skills/heart in there just to quit 2 rounds before the end. I understand why he did it, it's just that my inner egoist wanted him to keep fighting and firing back until the end. Health comes first, I hope he's alright and props to Spence, bad start for him, but found his way to get the W.

That eye was horrendous. if you can't see, no way on
Earth you can evade southpaw shots.
    Fight elevates boxing.

Brook clearly has a health issue. He was winning the whole fight and all of a sudden he just looked bad. Brook wasn't even stunned the whole god damn fight up until a few moments ago. A 100% healthy Brook wins 10 out of 10x's

Anyone else think Brook looked much weaker and slower than against GGG?

Pretty obvious to me he needs to move up now.

Those who have actually watched Brook though, would agree that a pre-GGG Brook would've had far too much for Spence tonight.

Spence is everything people believed Porter to be (speed, physical strength...athleticism in general really, plus relentless work rate & stamina) along with actual skill, both offensively and defensively. So it stands to reason that Porter lost a competitive but clear battle with Brook and Spence (his superior in every way) managed to stop him.

That said, not going to pretend I hadn't picked Brook to comfortably outbox him to a UD (though I could easily claim otherwise, since I never posted a prediction on here, just pure honor system here, leading by example) - hats off to our new IBF champ @ 147lbs, he is the actual Truth whether or not the haters can handle it. Now watch them scramble to withhold credit as if we didn't just see Brook operating at the same peak he was pre-Golovkin.

As for Ezekiel, no shame in the "quit" there, you could see the contrition in his eyes during that head shake. He just couldn't see. No worse than Morales' sad little head shake "no" to his dad in the corner in the Pac rubber match, or to Izzy Vázquez making the decision to settle the score another day in Márquez I after his nose filled up with so much blood he couldn't breathe. If you physically can't anymore, it is what it is. That isn't a "quit-job", IMO. Brook clearly would have rather not had the swelling on his eye get in the way of doing everything he could to retain his belt. **** happens.
