Brook didn't mention the weight or his right eye as a factor! So where are you getting that it was. The only thing he mentioned, was the good eye Spence destroyed, as the reason he surrendered his belt in front of his home town! Brook was too busy worrying about chocolate brownies, while Spence was dropping fudge bombs! LOL

 

I dont think Spence gives a **** if you give him credit or not. You picked Brook to win knowing the circumstances and you didn't credit Spence for proving you wrong.

 

great fight. brook just came up short against a better fighter. did going up and fighting golovkin effect him? guess we will never know.

 

in the post fight interview brook said he could make welterweight again ? and the days leading up to the fight he was making weight easily, an there were threads on here saying spence did not look to healthy (face sunken in etc)

do you think a non drained version of spence would be able to beat the brook you hoped would show up? im asking because the same people who used their powers of observation, to conclude the weight fluctuation affected brook, also had spence drained yesterday.

 

I can't help but slightly sympathize with you here even thought you're ultimately expressing frustration with your incorrect prediction. It's a very specific question that can honestly be answered with it all depends on the fighter, you're jumping to conclusions believing every fighter is affected in the same manner after going through the scenario you desicibed. You also didn't specify if the impact of the scenario would affect the fighter positively or negatively.....so what we have here is a very specific question with portions still left unclear.

Golovkin destroyed Brook's career, he is not the same fighter he was because of that fight....................Spence is not the greatest welterweight in boxing history, he got hit too much, a fighter with power would knock him out. Spence does not have the speed of Leonard, Benitiz, does not have their defense. Ray Robinson would have killed him.................
