That's the best fighs to make at 147 no doubt, and one I hope gets made towards the end of the year.

What I'm saying is, Brook was winning against Spence and Golovkin clearly until the injuries happened. Both fighters against him have to be credited for causing the injuries in the first place. I feel Kell should retire now, you don't want to risk your sight and he doesn't need the money.

The guy could have been rated as one of the best of the generation, but unfortunately due to these injuries won't be remembered that well.

YET his best win is Porter. When did the mauling Porter become the barometer for greatness? Brook has always been overrated relative to his resume

You only had to watch the fight tonight to know how good both fighters were

Yeah, I hear you but winning and won means two different things.

This. I'm not ready to write Thurman off just yet. He's much lighter on his feet than Brook was tonight and carries at least as much whoop ass, though he has a suspect chin. To me, Spence/Thurman is a pretty even matchup.

As I've been saying for a while now nobody is beating Spence. Spence has been the best WW in the world for a least a year now despite not having a belt.

Crawford has too much skills for Spence and will break his ass up in the end.

We will have to see how Crawford looks at 147. I think spence is too big for Crawford I could be wrong but I would bet against Crawford here right now.

Yep. Spence not only showed that grit, sharpness and unrelenting dedication to the body we are used to seeing...he also showed chin, stamina and heart, against an elite WW. The guy does not give up. He fights each round like the first one, in the sense that he doesn't break down, doesn't look fazed, always in rhythm. This kid is an animal, a boxing machine.

If these guys stop dodging him, they will all take an 'L'. Thurman's body can't handle that Spence work. I don't even want to see Crawford in there with Spence until both have unified or Crawford is seriously moving up. Pac man don't want that work. Too much risk, too little reward at this point in his career. He is gonna need to drop that belt though.

They both fought to their advantages both had good gameplans but Spence was the better fighter.

The shots that I thought Brook would land did but Spence wasn't phased I was impressed.

I was never confident picking Brook because Spence looked a killer against Algieri who's no slouch.
Spence showed he had heart, chin, toughness and fortitude last night.

People should realise that half of the rounds that Spence 'lost' in some people's scorecards could've actually gone his way.
I need to watch the fight again and assess what turned things around.
I think it was the body work - very good at hitting and holding too lol, but I also suspected it was ALSO Brook getting tired. Losing all that muscle from MW to WW was destined to effect him in the latter rounds.
