Disagree unless the eyes are a problem. He is too talented. He beats Thurman, maybe Garcia. He's a beast.
If he did its a reasonable move. I would like to see him take a long layoff and come back sometime next summer. He just turned 31, can beat/compete with most welterweights, and can draw a crowd. A lot of options at 147 or even 154 if he wants to keep fighting.
Golovkin destroyed his career, he will never be the same........................Porter wants Spence ASAP, I think he will beat Spence, Spence is not invincible, he can be hit, and does not seem to punch that hard...................Brook should retire..............
thats generally where i try to target when i box... the face.. the nose the eyes.. anywhere in that target area thats a scoring blow ....
This. And take some time off. Two back to back wars and such bad injuries. He needs a physical and a mental break. They need to build him back up and not throw him back to the trenches immediately.
Well Spence hit Brook in his "bad eye from last time" plenty and it held up very well. If its the same thing on the other eye then that cant be fixed too. But saying that its pretty rare that bone breaking in Boxing and both of his have gone in 2 fights, was it just real bad coincidence or is there more to be read into that and worried about.
I don't think so dude even though he's been unlucky to get srrious injuries in the last couple of fights doesn't mean he need to retire. Let him fight a few lower ranked fighters and see how he does before calling it quits.
